Stayed there 1 night on 29-May-2016. The lobby looked like a counterfeit of Venus Hotel in Macao/Las Vagus and overall the hotel maintenance was weak that it looked old for a 8 year hotel. The smell (like no air circulation, a bit wet basement) in the corroidor was the best summary to tell customers the quality of this hotel. Inside...

The rooms are dirty and smoky. The staff barely clean the rooms and all the rooms smells cigarette smoke. Carpets and tables are dirty. The hotel has potential but I guess management tries to save money and staff. What a shame!!! Just stay there if you have no better choice.

It claims to be a five-star hotel but I can only rank it to be 3 1/2 star in international hotel standard. We checked in but no WiFi connection, decor was run down in room. The club house Tom at 6th floor has two steps inside the room towards to sitting area where we almost falled twice to the ground...

The best hotel to stay in Xinhui. A grand lobby and large hotel painted like the Venetian in Macau. Typical of Chinese provincial hotels it lets itself down in the details. The second time I stayed in on the executive floor (15th or 16th) it was much better: same design room but cleaner and better bathroom. Breakfast tries to cover...

I stay there about 8 times a year and the hotel is the best in a 5-mile radius around Xinhui. However, the rooms look older every time when i get there. The beds are big and soft enough, but it could be slightly softer for the average westener. I have tried breakfast but that's too Chinese for me. I always...

Never expect such nice hotel in this area. The outside may not look very grand, but once inside, you could see the architecture inside the lobby area very very nice. The rooms were big and have comfortable beds. Its clean and the toilet/bath room is also quite large. The breakfast here is also quite good. Nearby the hotel, there is...

I stayed there with 2 colleagues recently and really enjoyed it. The lobby / reception area is unbelievable - with impressive frescos and ornate gold detail throughout ... amazing, I'm sure it doesn't compare with a true Italian original, but it does leave you standing there with your mouth open, if only at the incongruous surprise which greeted you upon...

The minute you walked in to this hotel, the décor may amazed you. It had a huge reception and high ceiling decorated in Renaissance Artwork. If you do not speak Chinese, it could be a slight challenge that little patience cannot able to overcome. The rooms are large and relatively clean. Good for a night or two. The hotel is...

Phoenix Hotel in Xinhui, a pleasant district of Jiangmen near Guangzhou, was built to resemble a "typical" American 5-star hotel, and hence its category of "practically 5 star" or "ready for 5 star", according to its official website. Unless you have stayed here before, the lobby will surprise you - most ceilings are covered in what looks like Italian-style frescos....

Stayed there for two weeks altogether. Cockroach I killed the second day stayed in my room for another week... Bathroom not properly cleaned every day. Laundry service-efficient and good value. Room service- some language barriers created inefficiencies in food actually ordered and delivered. Regardless of DO NOT Disturb sign on the door knob housekeeper insisted(waking me up in the process)...
