Modest hotel, stayed there 1 night for business. Staff was friendly. Room was OK, nothing fancy, but kept clean and the bed was fine to sleep in. Breakfast was OK, a moderate choice on western dishes, but i didn't left hungry :-) All in all an acceptable hotel, but taking into account my later hotel experiences in China, I'd opt... More

By local standards, the hotel is an upscale and top notch hotel. It is still lacking compared to a 5 star hotel you will find in an international city. Rooms are relatively clean (except for the carpet). I was also woken up at 10am on a Sunday by renovations in a room across the hall (as they left the door... More

This is a classic hotel just 45 minutes away from Baiyun -Canton airport with Versailles type garden surroundings. Good for stay just 2 nights. Fine, clean rooms, complicated wi-fi and sumptuous breakfast. At 80 US$/per person/per day at a lean season it's worth the price. Stay once when you are in Foshan and you'll surely like it. Strictly no shopping... More

The location is pleasant and the walking/jogging path around the lake was one of the saving graces of this property (the fitness room doesn't open until 7 am, so I had to rely on this path for exercise!). The A/C in Building 1 was on the fritz during July which made for very uncomfortable conditions in my room. I switched... More

Have stayed here on many occasions. I have been for business only, but looks like a nice weekend getaway for a relaxing time. The area surrounding the hotel is nice and quiet with a beautiful garden in front.Often I would walk in the early morning before everything became busy around the hotel. Very peaceful. There is a lake nearby that... More

Having stayed in this hotel a number of times, I can almost call it a second home. Take an early morning walk in its gardens and you feel rejuvenated. The breakfast spread is adequate, though I have seen significantly larger spreads in similar hotels elsewhere. Also, for some reason, they haven't heard of whole grain bread. One can spend a... Beautiful surrounding, reasonable price, delicious food offered by the cantonese restaurant on the first floor, a great place to spend the weekend with family. There is one thing I wonder, I like reading but there was no light on the bedside.

From a Chinese perspective, this is a quiet hotel, with a casual 'laid back' feel. The approach road promises something different, and the hotel does not disapoint. The drive to the elevated entrance is reminiscent of a Southern European Chateau, and the hotel interior is of a very high standard. Staff attention is a little detached, however it is important...
