That person who said the owner was rude must have been having a bad day!! I have found this place to be nothing but friendly. They have something for everyone! I love staying here Really!! The general store has everything!

I have stayed here many times and I love it. The only thing I would say are problems are the older, dilapidated campers that look abandoned. The owners take care of their residents, which is why some of the trailers look like they do. Overall, I have met great people here, I have great memories here and I will continue...

We will NEVER return. The owner was extremely rude to us and basically told us to get out of her campsite because we wanted to be moved to another campsite because there was a flood light over our tent.

We keep a yearly site. Just moved a new camper in because we enjoy so much. Beach only a short distance away not crowded and friendly campers. Joey,Justin do a great job with campground. Full service store on site with a great staff no need to leave

It is very dark at night there is no street lights and if you have to walk to the bath house you need a flash light it is very dark get some street lights and then it would be a great place to stay just put some lights out

I am surprised by all the bad reviews on this place. My father-in-law has a year-round site and we love to come down from Richmond anytime we have a spare weekend. The campground is a little rough around the edges and the pool is very small, but you can't beat the location! The beach is perfect and not overly crowded....

My husband and I stayed here when we traveled to the OBX in 2011. We had a pretty good time and met some new friends at the campground...all in all, it was a pretty good stay. We planned on staying at North Beach again when we were down last week (even though the staff weren't super friendly the first time)...

At first glance, you see the awning from the gas island on the ground and the junk collection off to the side and you wonder, but as you drive through the campground you see 20-30 year old delapidated trailers/campers nestled in between new sparkling clean campers and you wonder, WHY? Then right up at the waterfront is the bath house...

,me and my husband spent our 1 year anniversary here and we had a tent spot right at the back where we were as close to the ocean as possible! IT WAS AWESOME!!!, the store was right there, nice bathrooms with showers, picnic table, and electric hookup. I have been wanting to go back for a few years now just...

Friendly, helpful, courteous neighbors. Travelers always driving thru to see just how nice a place it is. Don't be afraid, this campsite is just what you need to have great fun with family and friends. The campground is for permanent campers that can be taken away during storms of destruction or call and bring in yours for a while. Hey,the ocean is...
