One star is way too many. Campground is small and the sites are too close. It’s dirty. The owner is a rude, ignorant, money hungry person. She walks around from site to site all day and just complains and nit picks. She is looking for you to offer her money to go away. She should not be a business owner. She’s a complete sheister. Staying on the side of the road would be better.

Stayed here last summer. Going back this year. Fantastic campground. Very clean and well taken care of. Management is wonderful and very helpful. Pam was a very gracious host. It's quiet and family friendly. Within a short walk or bike ride to just about anything you would need. If you're looking for an excellent place to park your home away from home, this is the spot.

First, this place floods at the drop of a hat, from storms, rain, it just floods. That’s Mother Nature on the Obx. Be prepared to get stuck there or not be able to even get there because the main road highway 12 constantly floods. Next, the management is one step away from a nervous breakdown daily. Nastiest people we’ve encountered in 10 years of camping. There little to no WiFi, it’s dark at night, the spots are very close together and you could pass a cup of coffee to your neighbors through your windows. Covid has eliminated any restaurants there to actually dine inside at. Same with the gift shops. This campground doesn’t do online reservations you can only call and they use an old scratch pad.

We are seasonal rv campers here from March-November on our 3rd year. It’s quiet, provides excellent and clean laundry and bath house area as well as ice. Great soundside access and short distance to the ocean. It’s the best place I’ve been and I’ve been rv-ing since age 7 and I’m 56. Come check it out, you’ll be hooked. It’s a short distance to restaurants and shops as well by car or bike.

Been sharing our summers at this campground for over 15 years if I’m not mistaken. Owner Irvin and many employees that have been here have been excellent, including the newest employer Pam. Over the years here different ones complain about the cost, but you couldn’t go anywhere on the eastern coast as cheap as it is to stay there. Plus the wonderful people that come in and out you get to meet throughout the summer speaks for itself. Met a lot of wonderful people over the years, and looking forward to many more. Has nice bathhouse with restrooms and showers on premises which also includes 2 washer/dryers. Driving distance close to everything
