If you can avoid this motel I would. They are charging a premium for a roach motel!! We had multiple rooms and the only decent room out of the 7 we had was the handicapped room because it never got rented out. All other where sub par !
I am not sure where the 5 star reviewers stayed, but my experience was closer to the one star rating. Room had some "smell" that was not normal. Found some food substance in the sheets. Seems impossible that they were changed. There were burn marks on the sink indicating that "someone" had been smoking something in there. There was also a hole in the drywall behind the door in the bathroom. The bed (king) was well past it's replacement date and very uncomfortable. Covid restrictions cancelled all other amenities. It was not price friendly for this level of accommodations.
Do Not Trust This Place, very Bad and smells very bad. Unprofessional people and looks like a jail house and homeless people, they need to be shut down running a place like that. Better get a health check after staying here
Husband and I stayed at the property we were late gettin in. Front Desk was super helpful I believe his name was Gp. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Chekinn was fast and easy made the reservation over the phone.
The individuals (JP in particular) who operate this hotel are GREAT people. The hotel was clean and service went beyond the call of duty. I pulled in 2am on April 4th, accidently dropped my license in the parking lot where only 7 hours later I headed to S. CAROLINA. After some work on their part, my license is being shipped to me. THANK YOU to whoever found it and to JP for going the extra mile.
The loud train that goes by at 10:30 with whistles blowing does not bother me but be aware it’s shockingly loud. No breakfast because manager is afraid to let people in lobby according to check in staff. Toilet missing screws so it wobbles. Bed was comfy and the television only has a few channels. Good for a night of you are getting up early. If you like to sleep in don’t stay here. They keep pounding loud till you answer. Luckily I was up.
Stayed at this hotel and it was downhill from Hello. Cigarette butt laying on window sill and when we opened the door well smoke alarm was hanging out of the wall, no light bulb in light at bed. no place to hang clothes hair dryer broken and coffee maker was very sticky as well as top of microwave., and door jam busted and splintered on bathroom door. Walls needed some cleaning.
There should be zero stars. This was the worst motel we've ever stayed at and cant believe it was a wyndham. We will warn others. Our door did not lock, it was actually broken. Obviously someone had recently broken in by kicking down the door. The coffee pot in the room did not work and spewed hot water over all our bathroom things. The room was filthy. No breakfast she said because of virus. Every other hotel does grab and go or individually wrapped. Not even any coffee, so we got none. The bed was decrepit and possibly dirty sheets. Definitely stained. Clearly this one is about to go out of business and scraping every penny. We had no choice but it was a terrible experience. The front desk said they would tell management but were clearly unconcerned.
The Motel needs an overhaul. Broken key chain. Broken towel holder. Dirty walls. Nothing extreme but for the price it should be perfect. The window needed cleaning. The night manager seemed to be more than preoccupied with something.
I stayed here on my way back from Florida and this place was an absolute dump ! The interior walls were damaged, no tissue paper, none of the items that you would expect to find when paying $ 120.00. If I inherited this place, I would do some major renovations before I ever put my name on the sign. If there was a bright spot anywhere, it was the front desk staff..... This stay convinced me to fly next time.
