My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our cabin room was just big enough for the 2 of us. The bed was very comfortable and having a refrigerator, microwave and Kuerig in the room was wonderful! We enjoyed lunch and dinner at the Tapoco River Grill onsite daily. The pizza is fantastic! We will definitely visit again.

This was a terrific stop! One of us had a pizza, another a really good hamburger and I had the Summer Strawberry Salad! I saw on the menu they had grit croutons which I had never heard of but I asked to add them to my salad and they were awesome! Very southern addition! Beautiful view, excellent service and great... We stayed at Tapoco for five nights. My sister found the lodge online and initially gave us a gift certificate for Christmas. Then she added to it for my husband's birthday and we ended up using it all for our 25th wedding anniversary. The location is fabulous - especially if you love motorcycles like I do. Uncountable numbers of them... More

Wife and I stayed three nights as part of our 25 Wedding Anniversary vacation and to visit friends in the local area. This is a beautiful historic facility built back in the 1930s. Sits right on the rushing river. Access to many hiking trails. The Tapoco River Grill serves wonderful food and drinks with indoor and outdoor seating on an... More

My husband and I had had a 3 day getaway at this beautiful lodge. The staff was very pleasant, the scenery was beautiful and the lodge dog, Red, was a perfect touch to this quaint little spot in the mountains. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Impromptu visit, hoping they would have a room. Lucky us, a cabin was available with a view of the river. The cabin was clean and neat. 2 full beds, tv with cable and a quaint little porch overlooking the river. September is wonderful time to visit, it's still warm during day, with just a hint... More

Upon driving into Tapoco Lodge, you get the sense that you are arriving at a truly unique destination. You probably will arrive via Tail of the Dragon, which in itself provides it's own little adventure and bragging rights! But as you pass under the Tapoco Lodge entry arch, you feel the rustic simplicity of the resort immediately. Our check-in was... More

This place was awesome and peaceful and the hotel staff was great!! The food was good but the food service was very bad and the outside food area was dirty and no one seemed to clean tables or pick up trash in the back dinning area. We had our morning coffee out back and tables still had food and dishes... More

We only spent one night, and wish we could have stayed longer. We booked two adjoining cabins for 8 people, and it was cozy but comfortable enough for one night. The cabin's décor was lovely, the bathrooms were particularly nice with plenty of thick bath towels and towels for use with the hot tub. The hot tubs were very comfortable... More
