We had a really great stay at Herons Farm. Maggie, who runs it, was so kind and helpful. It was the nicest place to stay and we will definitely go back. Warm, fantastic breakfast, clean, good wifi, great after service (we left stuff behind which Maggie sent on without be asked to) and a lovely place.

In its favour very handy for a wedding in the barn otherwise unbelievably expensive for a room which doesn't even cover breakfast. We stayed in the Tapestry Room which has a bathroom across the corridor - separated only by two meagre curtains and a door out to the roof. This arrangement resulted in a man trying to open the door...

Your review is incorrect. You had a booking form which clearly stated Bed & Breakfast. The dining room was full in the morning - do check with the Bride & Groom and other guests. On arrival you were asked if either of you were vegetarian or if you had any allergies for the breakfast. The Tapestry room is a suite...

Just back from visiting Herons Farm whilst attending a friends wedding. Firstly the setting is beautiful and the farm itself is lovely. Our accommodation exceeded expectations as we had so much space! We staying in a cottage called Crab apple which was fab - clean and the bed was very comfortable. I booked the barn and RS Catering for My parent’s diamond wedding celebration. From start to finish Charlotte and her team could not have been more helpful. Her advice and patience were much appreciated, as we organised the entire event from long distance. Charlotte even helped us to decorate the barn, which looked wonderful when we had finished. The food...

We stayed for 2 nights in 4 cottages and 1 room in the farmhouse. We found the cottages to be spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable, though obviously this is personal taste. The basins were a little small if you wet shave but otherwise we had everything we needed as each cottage has its own kitchen. Some have sitting rooms...

Just a quick note to thank you for a most enjoyable stay over the week end. What a delightful set up and a joy for us to discover an oasis of tranquility in the hurly burly of Southern England. The ambience was exactly to my taste and I do hope it never changes

We keep returning to Herons Farm - we seem to find a reason every year, family parties, riding holidays and most recently walking holidays. The countryside is fantastic and we love the charming cottages and atmosphere of this very magical setting. Can't recommend it enough.

We visited Herons Farm from NZ recently for a family gathering. The farm setting was in a lovely rural location. The rooms our family had were Quaint and pleasant. We liked the doors between the units and the courtyard. Beds were comfortable and the owners accommodated our meal requirements well. Food provided was plentiful and tasty.
