When I booked I was advised the Hotel was being renovated ... when I arrived I asked for a renovated room and was told that no renovations had been made. They had blocked off the entire top floor to start renovating there and would work down floor by floor. Of all the rooms at the hotel, I was given a...

this hotel is the typical Hampton Inn. It is undergoing renovation and understanding that you give it a pass if some of the rooms seem dated. I can't wait till it is all done and will stay there again. I was surprised that there was no charging port for my phone but again I'm sure when all the work is...

Clean, comfortable, reasonable price, good continental breakfast. Have stayed here many times when visiting family in the Raleigh area and always find it a pleasant experience. Would certainly recommend it.

I have stayed at many Hampton Inn's across the country and have always had good experiences. But the Raleigh Midtown property is way below Hampton Inn's usual quality. It is old, rundown, and shabby. You should avoid it until they completely renovate it.

Quiet, minutes from downtown, rooms comfortable with high quality standard amenities you expect from a Hampton inn. Food/ breakfast was good and coffee available all day. Little older but nicely renovated. No fridge in our room but we rarely use one.

This hotel is located in a very convenient location; close to highway, restaurants, shops and downtown Raleigh. Spacious rooms. The complementary breakfast is convenient. The staff is very accommodating. We will book this hotel again this summer when we visit family again!

We were there for a visit to Duke Raleigh Cancer Center. Do not know this area and were concerned. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel and all of the friendly staff with their big smiles.

We stay in a lot of Hamptons but this one did not live up to the Hampton brand. We arrived around 1 am after flying back from Vieques. The clerk was nice but not very friendly. We found the room to be very old and worn out. The air AC unit was falling apart and rattled so bad I had...

Had problems with hot water for shower. Hotel looks more like a much lower class of hotel. This is the worst Hampton Inn that I have ever stayed in. I guess you get what you pay for. Did not have a modern appeal.
