Comfortable, convenient, and priced-right, this Residence Inn is a great choice in Raleigh. While its decor is not trendy and up-to-date, the bed was very comfortable (which, I think, is more important) and our room was spacious. Better yet, it's close to the Crabtree Valley Mall, which offers a multitude of dining options. We stayed here recently, while Covid-related restrictions were still in place, and the breakfast buffet had been replaced with a pre-order system -- you must order your breakfast the night before you plan to eat it. We didn't do that, so I can't tell you how efficient the process is. But it's available. We were pleased enough with our experience that we plan to stay again. Recommend it!
We really like Marriott. Some problems here. The air/heat fan was so loud it woke us up all night long when it kicked on. The bathroom fan was so loud it was horrible. We reported these. The both fans were worked on (oiled maybe) and were better. We were told they are just old. Worst sleep we have ever had in a Marriott. To give them credit they did give me a key to check out two empty rooms. Put the air on and one was even louder. They were VERY nice at the desk. The breakfast was about the best ever. They have a cute bar and light food in the lobby, a plus.
Older RI, but they make up for it with exceptional service. Felt like I was staying at an old friend's home as everybody was friendly from reception to bar to breakfast staff. Wish I could stay hear instead of other RIs in area for work.
The room is very nice and clean and very spacious as well. The frontdesk when we check in is very welcoming and accomodating. Every staff we encountered in our stay always greets us with huge smile in the face.
The room was very spacious and has the traveler in mind when they decorated. The kitchen has plates, cups and utensils. It also has pots and pans, 12 cup coffeemaker and toaster. The microwave is easy to operate. The full size refrigerator is a plus. The table and couch is very nice. The queen size bed is comfortable. The a/c is in the wall and very quiet. We will stay here again when in the area.
