I liked the hotel for comfort. I was there for a conference. The room is large and updated. However, I had a time getting the internet to work initially. The hotel had to connect me to tech support before I could get online. I also asked for a frig for my room which was promptly delivered but no matter what...

Perfect location in downtown Raleigh. Easy to park your car and spend the weekend on foot exploring the city. Music in the bar was fantastic, and cocktails were made by a very knowledgeable bar staff. My reason for not giving 5 stars, we paid a premium price for the executive club level only to be told we could only access...

Worst hotel experience I've stayed at in years. The staff was got so many things wrong and were very unfriendly. Didn't send up the rollaway bed until two calls later, mistakenly charged us for internet and valet parking that we didn't use. Starbucks and restaurant downstairs was external slow and inefficient. Every morning the line for breakfast was minim 30...

Hello Rose Y, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience at our hotel. I have to say that I'm very disappointed in the issues you had while here. I'm most disappointed that we left you feeling like our staff is unhappy. We are firm believers in Mr. Marriott's philosophy that if you take care...

First, I booked on Priceline (name your price), and I received a great price for this hotel. With that said, it should not matter where you book, but my room had the worst view possible. I had requested 2 beds about a week before the reservation. I understand, requests are not always granted, and mine was not granted. Overall, the...

I liked the location in Raleigh very much - close to lots of nice restaurants and bars and also the Convention Center/Performing Arts Center etc. Self-parking was easy in the Convention Center garage and you can walk straight into the hotel from there. Parking was $12 and you take care of this yourself - nothing to do with the hotel,...

Had a single king room. Very clean and roomy. Everything needed was available. Nice lobby. Has a bar and restaurant. Very convenient to convention center and anything downtown. Unfortunately not there long enough to try the other amenities.

Second time staying here and very happy with the room. Very comfortable bed, nice, large room, tastefully decorated. Huge flat screen TV on which you can stream Netflix. The bathroom is large. There was no safe in the room but there is a kettle and various coffee and tea options. There is a Starbucks on the first floor, and many...

Stayed for 2 nights midweek and the service was excellent. Close to many restaurants and bars. Full service Starbucks off the lobby was always busy. The Concierge lounge staff were supper friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I brought my mother to Raleigh for her birthday. We had tickets to the ballet, Shen Yun, performing at the Duke Energy Performing Arts Center. The Marriott is situated within walking distance which was a win-win for me. This Marriott was very clean, modern, and the entire staff was hospitable. I received a spontaneous upgrade which was so very nice,...

This hotel property is modern, clean, and has a good vibe. Service was good in all areas except room service which was average. Having a Starbucks connected to the lobby is a huge bonus. Valet parking at $30 a night is unreasonable given that self parking is not so obvious. The food at the hotel is very average....not bad but...
