Having two daughters attend NCSU this hotel is perfect for our family visits. Yes it is older but it is VERY clean. The beds are comfortable and the service is great. Being an older hotel might be a drawback for some visitors but because of the age the rooms are much larger which I love. For the price you can not find a better hotel!

Booked this hotel in March with 2 queen beds. Arrived at the hotel around 4:30, an hour and a half after check in, to be told our room was still not ready. Didn’t get into our room until 5:00. Once we finally got into the room we found out they put us in a one long size bed room, not the two queens we booked. Went to the front desk about this and after the person at the desk looked at the computer for a couple minutes told me there was nothing to do , we had to keep the room. Get back to the room and get a call from someone else at the front desk offering a king suite, still with only one bed, after being told minutes before the hotel was booked. Was told they would keep trying to find us a different room, but never heard from anyone again. In terms of the actual room, the faucet was broken, not even attached to the counter, the tissue box on the wall couldn’t be closed, exposed wires were hanging from the light, dirty tub and wall, and in order to lock the door we had to have two people because the lock did not line up with the door frame. We dealt with it for the one night we were there but if I was to ever return to Raleigh for something I would never stay at this hotel again. No one on the staff seemed to actually care, wasn’t even offered a sincere apology, just one to try to get a good review.

On a trip to work at a Equestrian Event, I found myself in a situation without promised accommodations. Teresa Ellis was the most kind and understanding front desk attendant I've ever met! She went above and beyond to find me and my little girl a room in a fully occupied hotel. I was pretty flustered when I found we had no place to stay at almost 10pm at night, and she was such a calm within my storm! She was amazing! Her customer service and "I've got you taken care of" attitude was exceptional! Thank you so very much to Teresa and the entire staff who were friendly beyond my expectations. When I checked out, Kim and Andre were very gracious. Having worked in the hospitality industry for well over 25 years myself and my spouse, I was so appreciative to see such well trained staff! Great job with your team Ms. Cynthia Nameth!

Best option for horse shows, close, comfortable, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg! Breakfast buffet with plenty of options. Restaurant in hotel(Indian) but has American food as well. Cozy bar area to relax in.

Room was clean and nicely done. Patio area needed cleaning though, and there was no chair out there to actually sit. Was really puzzled by the choice of restaurant in the hotel. Glad they had one, but it is Indian cuisine. There was only one item on the menu that they said was mild in spices. I can't imagine anyone wanting to take their kids there; which means leaving to hotel at dinner time to get dinner.
