We chose Huskins Court & cottages because of the great reviews and the location. We are people who like to adventure and seek out hidden gems when we travel. We had our 16 year old daughter with us and she loved it as much as we did! We stayed in the large cottage, a very roomy 2 bedroom 1 bath... More

Cute and quaint appearance. Very small rooms. No storage space or shelves in the bathroom. Owners did not offer call free coffee as they did for others in other reviews. Nor were they very friendly. No a/c. Just not a very comfortable place to stay. Prices have gone up. We don't plan to return.

Great place to stay with real down home feeling. Nowhere else could you stay for the price like this. Very quiet place because rooms sit off the main road. A lot of work has been done to the rooms as they have been renovated and are super clean, beds are like sleeping on a cloud. Juanita welcomed us like we... More

You really just have to read the other reviews! Staying at Huskins Court and Cottages allows you to reminisce of the simplicity of earlier times. Juanita greeted us from across the parking lot and sat on the porch talking while handwriting our registration. She shared with us her and her son Jerry's business philosophy which is basically having people feel... More

We were greeted by Jerry and Juanita when we first arrived, our room was ready. The room was a cabin with pine cedar walls, very clean, the fresh mountain air created a nice breeze throughout. We were close to everything, Grandfather mountain, Linville falls and caverns, hiking, Mast General store. Our room was quiet and peaceful, and sleeping was wonderful.... More

If you are looking for 5 Star accommodations such as modern furnishings, silk sheets, uppity staff than this is not the place for you. However, if charm, character and atmosphere rate high on your radar then this is the place for you and yours. The owners Juanita and Jerry exude hospitality worthy of any 5 Star Hotel. It's GENUINE folks...and... More

Just a few miles from Grandfather Mountain. Older, but spotless with updated bathroom. Knotty pine walls and ceiling with sturdy maple desk, bed and dresser, my room also had a futon. No AC but windows on both sides provide cross ventilation and there’s also a ceiling fan. If you are looking for clean and basic, this is the place. Be... More

We live on the coast of NC, but for Memorial Day weekend we decided to beat the beach crowds and go to the mountains. Best decision we have made concerning holiday travel. Huskins Court in Pineola was our destination and that too was another great decision. Most relaxing 3 days we have had in quite some time. This is a... More

Our arrival at Huskins Court and Cottages capped a day of travelling in Blue Ridge Mountains FOG! We were tired, and the friendly welcome was refreshing. The laid back attitude of the owners impressed us greatly. The facility was clean and well kept. The room wasn't "luxurious", but the bed was comfortable, and the room cozy and inviting. Our original... More
