The food was fantastic. The service impeccable. We were greeted immediately and shown to our seat. After our drink orders were taken, a sweet young woman offered us a relish tray (I'm told this is a southern custom). It was delicious. The chef's signature biscuits and homemade jams were delivered and enjoyed by all (except our poor little Celiac). She... More

We had a surprise birthday party for my Father. The staff starting with Mr. Drew Gross was Absolutely Awesome. There were 70 total guest and they took great care of us. We wanted for nothing. The atmosphere was cozy, beautifully decorated and the Food was Delicious. All of my family are still talking about the experience. Would encourage everyone to... More

Friendly and charming inn. A century old hotel nestled in the middle of Pinehurst Village. A must visit if you are a golfer. Or great for a romantic get away. Go back in time to a slower pace of life. Enjoy a drink at the bar or dinner in the dining room. Very nice stay.

I have not stayed at the Pinecrest Inn, but my husband and I tried the Sunday breakfast buffet this morning and had a delightful time. It's off season here in PInehurst so the dining room wasn't crowded. Our waitress was most attentive and was immediately at our table with fresh coffee and orange juice. We enjoyed the made--to-order omelets, the... More

I have stayed at the Pine Crest Inn 7-8 times over the past 12 years and found it to be a consistently fine option. Especially outstanding is the breakfast which is included in the room rate. Evening meals which my group always had were very good. Great menu options and service provided a large group(30-45) was superb. Kudos to the... More

Went down on the spur of the moment for an anniversary evening. I have been here many times over years for dinner but never stayed in the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at the quaintness of the hotel room. It's very old and looks like you are staying at your grandmothers home. But when I say it's old, not old... More

Stayed at Pine Crest (actually in an adjacent golf villa) on Master's weekend with a male golfing group of 7. At dinner on Friday evening we waited well over an hour for our meal after we had ordered. We were promised our meal "it's coming in 5 minutes" at least 3 different times. Our waiter acted indifferent. The food (steaks... More

The Sunday Brunch buffet is fabulous! The staff is helpful and attentive. Come for bacon, sausage, made to order omelets, silver dollar pancakes, sausage gravy biscuits, fruit, and endless coffee... At $12, you can't beat it! The hotel is special and is in the heart of Pinehurst. A lovely meal to spend with family and friends.

We really enjoyed the quaintness of the Pine Crest Inn. We took advantage of their Valentine weekend special. We and very spacious room that would be considered dated (this hotel is 100 years old) but clean with a very modern bath and vanity area. Our weekend included a complete dinner for two, bottle of champagne and Sunday breakfast, all for... More

recently stayed in the Telephone Cottage. Really nice, but showing its age. Dated fixtures, wallpaper peeling, needs paint touch ups, outside landscaping need serious attention to be able to park you car in front of the property. Dinner was really good, but service was really slow. Great location.
