As always Pinehurst did not disappoint. Even with the renovations taking place the golf was spectacular, the food excellent and the good times in full force. We had a blast on the golf course and playing the putting course. Always a blast weather a golfer or not!

Beautiful resort and wonderful accommodations! Highly recommend for families, couples, golf enthusiasts and non golfers! A true gem. We went as a family with our two adult children in their early 20’s. (Son and a daughter). We all played #2 with caddies (the only way to play that course in my opinion). We had delicious meals at the Carolina and the Holly and the spa was wonderful as well.

We actually stayed at the Magnolia Inn. I think this place is good for couples. It's also right downtown when you step outside. The room was nice with no issues. It's a 5 minute walk to the main Carolina Inn resort. The staff was friendly. My only complaint is that can be a bit noisy. It is above the restaurant/bar. Hence if you are an early light sleeper, my not be ideal for you.

Made reservations a long time ago. Specifically requested via phone - multiple times - a renovated room with a king bed. Checked in. It's one of the old rooms in the East wing with 2 queen beds. It's basically a motel room. Awful. Bedding is awful. Even a plastic-wrapped plastic cup in the bathroom?? At these prices??? Save your money. It really is a terrible room. I've been to the Sanctuary at Kiawah, American Club in Kohler, both Inn at Spanish Bay and the Lodge at Pebble Beach, and multiple 5-star hotels from Scottsdale to Palm Springs - this is just an awful experience. I feel really bad for my wife who is not a golfer and was going to do some work from the room.

I stayed in one of the standard Carolina rooms. I saw not one, but two cockroaches in my room during my one night stay at Pinehurst. The noise isolation was poor as I could hear people in the hallway quite audibly at night.

I went to a Pinehurst for what is probably my 30th trip. It’s always been wonderful in the past. Unfortunately this time I had a horrible experience staying in the Pinehurst condos they had mildew in the bathroom and in the shower I got over that and then they missed billed me for caddies that I never took, finally about a month after the trip ended they sent me an email saying they had a billing system issue and they need to charge me more money. They proceeded to charge me another $300 and did not provide an invoice or anything I then went through billing support to try and figure it out and someone named Vicki confirmed that I was miss billed for caddy charges and pro shop purchases. She then completely went away and hasn’t responded in days. At a resort as expensive as Pinehurst. I’m extremely disappointed to be chasing down people at the resort for overcharging me hundreds of dollars for a subpar stay .

May 5th, 2023 was my wife's birthday. Our bucket list was to stay at the Carolina Inn in Pinehurst,NC. We booked the room and buffet breakfast combo. We arrived that night and checked in at 4PM and had dinner reservations at 6:30 that night. The meal was very good. We surveyed the Hotel and had a great rest that night. We got up and went to the buffet breakfast on Saturday. The most complete buffet we ever had. After check out we walked around Pinehurst for hours as my wife loves to shop small stores and there are many there. We recommend this beautiful Hotel and their great service if you want a great weekend or even one night stay. Everything was renovated and friendly.

We just came back from four nights at Pinehurst and I would say there was good and bad. The Good-Beautiful resort and spectacular golf courses, caddies great and golf staff very nice. Courses in great condition but if you cannot walk it is difficult because they do not allow carts on the fairways. We stayed in the suites next to the Carolina hotel and they were very nice with everything you could want. People were very nice and helpful when we checked in. The bad-Food at all the restaurants was just average. Service took a while and I would not go to any of these restaurants again. Not enough healthy options and the variety was not wonderful. Steaks a bit tough, salmon a bit dry and sides lackluster. The gym is very basic and not what you would expect from a first class resort. I was told by the front desk that I could change in the spa locker room but when I arrived they said unless I paid a fee I would have to change in the gym bathroom--and the person who told me this was not very nice about it. She claimed the front desk game me misinformation and did not seem to care about my experience. While staff is friendly enough they seem disinterested in going the extra mile. Case in point. We wanted a cake for a friend who was celebrating a birthday. My bad that we asked 8 hours in advance instead of the day before. They told me they needed 24 hours advance notice. They sent me to a cupcake place in town that was closed. They did not offer other options. Fortunately a woman in a local wine store told me how I could order on line and have a cake delivered from a local supermarket which we did. The hotel staff should have know of this option and arranged for a cake so I did not have to spend two hours getting a cake. Not a really big deal but gives some indication about the level of service. Nice people but for what they charge you would expect better service. There was also no turn down service and some of the rooms could use paint and some sprucing up, TV did not work for hours the first day we arrived when we were washed out with a lot of rain. I did not feel particularly welcomed and they gave the impression that they would not care if we did not come back.

We were put in an unrenovated room, chased a roach like critter, windows appeared to have black mold and the floor unleveled. After mentioned to front desk they said we should’ve requested a renovated room.

We lived at the Jack Nicklaus lodge here on the property, wow. The comfort of the rooms, the comfort of the house setting, fun. The food package was purchased, where we had breakfast every day there in the grand property. The use of the transportation to and from our golf and or meal off property was magnificent.
