Awesome place to stay! Very clean, well furnished rooms and magnificent view of the harbor and lighthouse. We were made to feel like very welcome guests. The gift shop next door has many unique and beautiful souvenirs!

Just like somebody else said on here, I wish I could have stayed longer!! Right from the beginning with my check in, the lady at the front desk was just as nice as she could be, met the owners, George and Patty. George offered to help me with my bags, I declined, I need all the exercise I can get....

Captain's Landing is a one-of-a-kind place to stay while visiting Ocracoke. Super clean rooms, very comfortable furniture to sit and relax on after a day of exploring. Every single person we met while there was truly interested in our complete satisfaction. The views are incredible. Sit on your water front balcony and watch the sun set. Definitely worth checking on...

The innkeeper (Betty) and her husband were very accessible if we had any problems or concerns. Betty especially was attentive to details and charming beyond compare. Our room could not have been any more special than it was, especially in that we had 1-1/2 bathrooms! We will definitely plan a repeat visit! Linda and John, Avalon, NJ

This hotel will one day be a destination vacation for us. We planned a coastal drive from Florida to Maine which included taking the ferry to Ocracoke & up the Outer Banks. We booked the Captain's Landing Inn sight unseen - as we were just staying the night. We didn't want to leave! After getting off the ferry & checking...

We ended up at Captain's Landing more or less by accident (at the last minute we decided to take the Cedar Island-Ocracoke ferry instead of driving via Manteo to Hatteras Island, and this was the only hotel we found with room -- most hotels on Ocracoke close in winter, and one that was open didn't answer its phone or return...

We only stayed one night, but appeared to be the nicest place on Ocracoke. Staff was nice and friendly, suite was comfortable and the view was breathtaking. If you can catch the sunset here, you will definitely not regret it!

We feel in love with this suite as soon as we walked into the door. We stayed for the weekend and did not have a single complaint. Staff is very knowledgeable about history! We stayed for just a couples getaway but agree we will bring our kids back.

The rooms look across Silver Lake at the Ocracoke Lighthouse with docks right outside your door. Perfect location! Walk to restaurants, shops and Springer's Point, Blackbeard's hangout and the site of the largest gathering of pirates in North America. Also the site of Owen and John Lloyd's theft of treasure in 1750. They stole more treasure in one afternoon than...

The perfect winter getaway. The owner and staff made it all perfect. The staff made us feel like we were right at home. The cottage was delightful with all the amenities we could need and I would love to wake up to that view everyday. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
