We stayed in a tent site during our stay. The sites were beautiful and the park well taken care of. Staff was friendly as well as other park goers. This is a great place for families to stay! We can not wait to come back again next summer!!

We stopped here for an overnight stay on our way to outer banks. The only thing positive about this campground is it’s location. First of all its online check in failed to deliver promise of smooth checkin. We never received site assignment email. Instead we had to call switchboard and waited for almost an hour to get someone talk to us. Imagine after a whole day of driving with 2 children in tow and you just couldn’t get checkin late in night. This campground offers nothing but full hookups. We needed to have 2-page document printed out. When asked for this favor, they told me only manager has email access to receive the document and they are not allowed to transfer files via their personal devices. We ended up with going to an UPS store wasting our precious travel time. So all in all steer clear of this campsite at all cost.

Great place to visit, not far from just about anything you want to do. Water abound, fishing and good people, it was a very nice, relaxing trip. Other than having a neighbor with a barking pet constantly, it was a great visit.

This park is old and the RV sites have electrical issues. The power went out for a number of hours during the heat of the day because there was a problem with the electric system. The outage threw off our surge protector as well as the power box outside of the unit. This caused us to be without full power for nearly 2 days (until we left) as a result. This was disruptive as I work from home. They reimbursed us for one night as a result, but it was very inconvenient (and hot). The internet was also down for 3 days and we used up our Mifi allowance for the month. The staff doesn't go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We will not be back and can't recommend this place as they need to make some repairs to ensure it is safe.

Nice store very helpful staff practicing covid 19 precaution. Will definitely be back at this campground
