NUMBER OF ROOMS
This is a lovely inn with great hosts. They greeted us quickly and gave us a tour. Our room was very clean and had every thing we needed. They keep a small refrigerator downstairs with water and drinks, which is very nice. The location is perfect for walking all over the downtown area.
Our 2nd visit and we will not stay anywhere else. Rooms are beautiful and clean and the Inn feels like home. Bed is very comfy and the linens quite nice. Breakfast is out of this world! Gretchen and Tracey have found their niche! Great location.
On our Trip down the east coast from Portland to Clearwater beach we came across this adorable little town New Bern and the lovely B&B Benjamin Ellis House. Eventhough we only stayed for one night , we really felt very welcome. From the room , to the bed , to the furnishings , to the table settings for breakfast it all made us fell happy and welcome. We enjoyed our stay very much. Our hosts where easy and nice to talk to. They even had a Swiss Jura coffee machine!!! :))) very much appreciated!! Gretchen made an absolute delicious breakfast and Tracy‘s coffee was brewed perfect ! We had a nice chat with the other guests over breakfast and a perfect start in our day ! Thanks a lot !
We booked the entire B&B for the groomsmen portion of our wedding party. Even though there were 1 or 2 groomsmen in the group who were less than ideal guests, Gretchen & Tracy worked with us up until the end, and helped us make it through the weekend. I would definitely recommend staying at their lovely B&B in historic downtown New Bern!
Truly lovely inn, in a perfect spot for strolling around town We were in the Tallulah suite, very spacious & comfortable. Our only issue was the jacuzzi tub was quite high & slippery The Inn owners, Gretchen & Tracy, are friendly, but not obtrusive. Our breakfast was served in the beautifully appointed. Dining room, delicious & plentiful The Inn is located right downtown, easy walk to the river, shops & restaurants
