Great accomodations. Very friendly staff and we highly recommend staying here. We will return soon for another stay. Not a chain hotel experience at all. We really enjoyed the room and great views of the sound.
My 15 yo grandson who loves history and I, who loves the sea shore, decided to leave on a Friday in March after he got out of school. Since it was raining, the sky went dark early. From our location, our trip was a 5 1/2 hour adventure. I had prepared my grandson for the several long, high bridges over the water (dislikes heights)...in the dark. Oasis Suites was such a welcome site after the six hour trip. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful; we had packed for four meals in the kitchen since my grandson has a very limited diet thus we had a lot of stuff to carry in. The suite exceeded our expectation, spacious and well-decorated. The two queen beds in a large room with 4 windows overlooking the water. Separate shower and tub in a more than adequate space. Good reception on TV and internet. Just an all around beautiful place with friendly staffing. We both hope to revisit soon. The only negative was on our way home. We had talked about how nice it would be to cross those bridges in the daylight. One of those bridges, however, had a drawbridge about half way the crossing. We were caught by that drawbridge for almost 25 minutes, which was more than my grandson was prepared for. He decided he had rather cross in the rain and dark after all. …
From our phone call seeking reservations to the end of our stay, it is obvious why they are rated "Best of the Best." Bev is so knowledgeable about the area and, if asked, makes the best recommendations. The entire staff is amazing. Our suite was spotless with daily service, the bed and furnishings were comfortable, and the view is amazing.
The room was absolutely gorgeous. The view of the bay was was great. I liked the fact that you could eat on the balcony if you chose to. You definitely cannot go wrong if you choose to stay here. All the amenities are provided for you. The housekeeping personnel were perfect.
Property is gorgeous with breath-taking views and is picture-perfect inside and out. Location is convenient to restaurants, shopping, water activities and site seeing. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and very helpful. Manager Beverly and her staff were very accommodating in allowing us to check in early. You will not find another hotel that measures the expertise and warm welcome that you will receive here. Beverly your management skills are top notch as they reflect in the services being provided by your staff.
This was our first time staying at the Oasis Suites, September 2022, and it will not be the last time. We've already booked a stay for 2023! My husband and I are no strangers to the Outer Banks, having visited over 20 years and sometimes twice a year. We were referred by friends, and let me say... this was the best referral we've ever gotten!! There are only 17 suites, so you are not crowded with other guests and no kids running around. It was a very quite and peaceful time! The parking is great as well with the spaces not being tight and some are even covered which is great. The views... you may not be right on the beach, but it sure doesn't matter! The sound views, WOW! It was so clean, comfortable, felt like we were at home! The staff... Bev felt like an old friend! The place felt like home! Everyone was so very friendly and professional! Customer service is by far the best I've ever experienced anywhere!! The attention to you to details to your stay to your comfort, nothing is left undone!! You will not be disappointed with the Oasis Suites.…
The staff shows appreciation for the customers like no place I have ever visited. You are greeted with a smile . You are treated like family. Add to that, the beautiful scenery of the lodge and your vacation is wonderful.
We started our family vacation at The Oasis a few days before we went to our beach house rental. Beverly is so warm and friendly! Our rooms were absolutely beautiful! Clean and so comfortable! The pool was great! We HIGHLY recommend Oasis!!
We recently spent 4 nights at the lovely Oasis Suites hotel in Nags Head, NC. We are no strangers to the Outer Banks, having visited on an almost yearly basis until summer 2018. This was our first trip in 3 years due to Covid. To say we were in need of a vacation is an understatement! After looking for availability at the two places we normally stay, it turned out they were both full (and very expensive given they sit right on the beach and it's high season!) I was about to give up when out of the blue Oasis Suites popped up in my search. It received 5 star reviews on Tripadvisor and Google, so I was intrigued. Oasis is located on the causeway that runs between Nags Head and Roanoke Island, so not directly on the beach but it does sit on the sound. Oasis is a boutique hotel with only 17 rooms, however, all of the rooms are suites. It's just the two of us so I was able to book a first floor suite at an unheard of price for summer high season. I believe this is the only suite that has just 1 bed, The rest are larger and have two to three beds (for families.) All the reviews raved about the hotel staff, how clean the hotel is and most especially, General Manager Bev. All the 5 star reviews were spot on. Bev greeted us when we arrived and within a few minutes felt like an old friend. She is so friendly, so gracious. We felt at home right away. Our suite was incredible. We had a kitchen with full refrigerator, stove, microwave. A cute little bar with bar-stools. A small kitchen table and chairs. A living room with leather sofa, coffee table, chair and tv. A separate bedroom with queen bed, closet, chest of drawers and tv (yes, two tv's!) The bathroom was huge with two sinks. This first floor suite was ADA compliant so that's the reason for the two sinks and walk-in shower. The room had double doors that walk out onto a small wood patio with two sitting chairs. We loved to sit out every evening on this little porch, visit with the guests who were staying in the room next to us and watch their granddaughter fish. That's the other great thing about Oasis! They sit right on the beautiful sound with a deck walkway that runs the length of the building and ends at a gorgeous gazebo. As long as you have your fishing license and gear, you can fish from their docks. We plan to bring our fishing gear the next time we stay. Fishing licenses can be purchased right down the street at a local business. The views from the hotel were gorgeous, especially the setting of the sun each evening. The hotel has a lovely pool and every time we went to swim, we couldn't believe how quiet it was; it's like we had the pool to ourselves! Oasis also offers covered parking which turned out to be a fantastic perk, especially when a rainstorm blew up as we were leaving to go to dinner. The room and the hotel were SO clean. I mean, really clean. In complete transparency, we did have an issue with the floor in the kitchen and living room after we checked in. Nothing outrageous, but it looked as if the floor had not been vacuumed well. Everything else in the room was spotless so we waited until the next day to mention it. I have to say, the front desk staff took it very seriously and when we returned from the beach around 1 pm, the entire suite smelled so fresh and clean. The housekeeping staff had gone out of their way to vaccum and mop the floors for us. We spoke with Bev about it later, we wanted to thank her and the housekeeper for being so gracious. She indicated she had researched the problem and thought it was a new housekeeper (almost all of their staff have been with them for years) and she may have been distracted and forgot to check the floors when going through the room cleaning checklist. We found Oasis was in a perfect location for us to access Nags Head and Roanoke Island. We had originally been concerned it would be problematic to have to drive to Jeannette's Pier to access the beach but we had no issues at all. Oasis is literally 2 minutes from the public access at Jeannette's Pier and they had lots of parking. We also found Oasis is close to a lot of the restaurants we enjoy in the area (thanks for the tip on Tale of the Whale, Bev! Our new favorite restaurant that is literally right across the street!) We enjoyed our stay so much we almost stayed an extra night but unfortunately it didn't work out on our end (Bev had a great room on standby!) We were so sad to leave but we promised Bev we would be back to stay again as soon as we can! Do yourself a favor, book a stay at Oasis, you won't regret it.…
This is our second stay at Oasis Suites and it was even better than the first. The rooms are stylish, comfortable and have everything you need. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. The microwave/convection oven means you can bake or cook any items in your room. The en-suite jetted tub is very relaxing after a long day! My kids always enjoy the pool. Bev is just wonderful. She makes you feel like family and is always friendly, positive and helpful. She always has a suggestion to enhance your stay or solve an issue. The maids were fabulous as well and will even wash your dishes for you. I really appreciate that Bev allows you to use the maid’s washer and dryer. Additionally, my family had success fishing off of the gazebo. Overall, a wonderful experience at Oasis!!!
