I had a lovely tour of this home and learned the history. It has been well maintained and has a lot of the original woodwork and fixtures. I just love the character. I was staying there for one evening before a dog competition. I needed a place to stay that is a home like environment so my dog and I... More

The house was lovely. Our room was comfortable and inviting. The breakfasts were wonderful. We even spent a rainy evening at the game table in the living room, which has many options including chess, checkers, decks of cards, and more. We enjoyed strolling through the gardens. And the location was perfect for our stay in Mt. Airy. Pam was a... More

What a wonderful place! Hospitality is unmatched, home is beautiful! Thank you JR and Pam, we had an excellent stay. Room 5 is large with a great original bathroom, we very much enjoyed ourselves! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we loved exploring this old manor and learning about its history.

Wonderful place to stay. Absolutely beautiful both inside and out. The gardens are gorgeous. Breakfast was great and host was very gracious. Couldn't asked for a better place to stay. Very convenient with a short walk to downtown Mt. Airy. This is the place to stay!!

The building and grounds are very nice, and there is a large, well-maintained garden one can stroll through. Breakfast was good and attractively presented. However, parking was only available on a very busy street, making loading and unloading somewhat dangerous. The bed in room 3, though large, sloped away from center toward both sides. The stairs to the second floor... More

After driving all day, this B&B was the best. We were warmly welcomed and shown around even at the late hour we arrived. The owners were extremely nice, and set to make sure our stay was the best. The property was beautifully maintained, with gardens all around. The room we stayed in was perfect. It was extremely comfortable, clean and... More

Stayed at the Sobotta Manor B&B recently while visiting Mt. Airy. We were all so glad we chose this establishment. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stay here. Our room was beautiful. No detail forgotten. And the caretaker of the property was great! We felt like we were staying at our own home--except better! Breakfast... More

We had a very nice stay while stopping in Mount Airy on our way south. The B&B is an interesting house close to downtown and our room was comfortable and clean with a view of the lovely back garden. Breakfast was great and the best aspect may have been the chance to chat with our very pleasant host. I'd recommend... More

So delighted we decided to stay at Sobotta Manor during our recent visit to Mt. Airy. We were warmly greeted by the owner & his two precious dogs, Cher & Clayton. The house itself has a fascinating history & the design & decor make one feel like one steps back in time. Every room of the house is cozy, very... More
