I have stayed here several times. It has it's "quirks" but still an excellent value. The property is split into a couple long sections. The pool (outdoor) is located in between them. The owner seems to be on top of keeping the rooms in good shape, but watch out for a room with a noisy PTAC unit! Try for an...

My husband tried to stay at this hotel and called 10 minutes later irate about both the incident and how it was handled. The toilet in the bathroom of his room had two large smears of human feces on it. He went to the front desk to complain and the management said they would fire the housekeeping staff and my...

We try to stay at a Choice hotel when possible because We appreciate the program and points. We're usually satisfied but this was the exception. We were sold a room that had a non-functional always running toilet. When I called about the problem I was told it would be 20 min and someone would be by to check. I called...

This is a MOTEL. No inside hallways, you park at your door on the outside. Not bad, although I felt like some of the people there were living there, not just guests? Very small area for breakfast, but good coffee.

I cannot say enough about how dirty this hotel is...last year was bad but this year was even worse. The rooms are flat out disgusting!!!! There is a permanent ring of black grunge around the bathtub and the bottom of it is just gross. We had to go buy our own bleach/cleanser and a bathmat because the tub is so...

We stayed in a 2 queen bed room. The decor is very dated but not dirty. The room had a flat screen tv, refrigerator and microwave. It was clean and supplies were abundant. There was no elevator for this hotel so carrying several bags up a flight of stairs was kind of a pain. This hotel is pet friendly and...

Very nice room, comfy bed, plenty of breakfast choices, friendly staff. most of all, it was economical. After almost 11,000mile, we appreciate economy. We had a pleasant evening resting before sightseeing in Mt. Airy, the town that inspired Mayberry. FANS MUST SEE this super friendly Southern town. Everything is a Mayberry memory. Spend a day or 2, take the tours,...
