The Inn is an interesting location with much character. Too often, lodging sites are relatively interchangeable, but the Inn is full of character. The open areas are spacious and open. The stonework is beautifully done.

Was here for a wedding and my first trip to the area. The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful with its stone architecture and scenic views everywhere. The staff was friendly too. As for attractions, there was a lot of out doors, warm weather activities in the area, but as I was here during the winter we didn't get to enjoy them.

We have a son that plays ball at Montreat and needed a place to stay. We were pleasantly surprised that this place actually allows individuals to stay here when rooms are available. If you are a history buff, you will love the place. You can walk the halls and see pictures from its beginning in the 20's to more present...

This is our third trip. First was camping, and now two stays at the Inn. This is a Presbyterian enclave that welcomes everyone. You can book and stay in the Assembly Inn just like you would a hotel. The Classic Inn and serene natural setting make this an ideal place to stay. There is no TV, no mini-fridge, no microwave,...

Assembly Inn is historic and affordable, providing reasonable accommodations in one of the truly beautiful and rustic communities left in the country. The updates to the rooms are fairly minimal, however, and the rooms remain pretty dated and lack typical accoutrements of hotels. Bed is pretty uncomfortable, A/C is loud, there are no TVs in the rooms and no toiletries/hairdryer...

I attended a conference held at the Assembly Inn and booked to stay at the campground while at the conference. The Inn is lovely but the campground ranks about the worst I've ever stayed in. The road into the campground needs attention to potholes and the campground itself is in great need of attention. The campsites are described as "rustic"...

My daughter and I attended a retreat in Montreat and were certainly surprised to see the beauty of this place. It is not always available to individuals; mostly is used by groups. It is worth contacting, and the price is reasonable. Parking is difficult. but the building is a beauty.

We spent out Thanksgiving holiday at Assembly Inn. The Thanksgiving meal was just like eating at your grandmothers table. The room were reasonable priced and comfortable. We were able to reserve an additional family meeting room for our extended family to play games and gather while not taking advantage of all the outdoor activities available. Hiking, playground, ect. Overall an...

We spent a week there with a Road Scholar group. The accommodations were exceptionally nice and the food was delicious and healthy. We did not expect such a great place and will go back in a heartbeat
