Detailed Reviews
A lovely place to stay! The Inn is beautiful and Janice was incredibly accommodating, also serving up delectable breakfasts each morning. We reserved two nights, and ended up having to stay an additional night. No problem. The Inn is spacious, clean, and so peaceful. If you need to be in the area, THIS is the place to stay.

When we first pulled up to the property we were greeted by Mrs. Janice and her sweet little pup . The fluffiest cutest guy you’ll ever meet! Mrs. Janice went above and beyond our expectations as a host. Her property is absolutely beautiful and pictures do not do it justice. From inside the house you have spectacular views but the real star is the view from 2nd floor balcony . Our room went straight out on to the balcony and we got to watch the sun rise in the morning. We had a very delicious breakfast. crispy bacon, yummy eggs , Belgium waffles and fruit ! She had quite the spread ready for us by the time we went downstairs. After breakfast we went exploring the property. We went for a walk through the forest and gave some pets to the horses. We ended our stay with a picnic, made by Mrs. Janice, underneath the big shady tree in front of the house. We are already making plans to come visit again! Thank you for a memorable stay Mrs. Janice.

Janice is a fabulous host who has every detail covered, even those you may not have thought of. I was sharing a long birthday weekend with my sisters to relax and enjoy the property but unfortunately had to take time away for work. The internet worked great and i was inspired by the amazing views while zooming from the balcony.

This place is beautiful and relaxing place to stay at. We stayed in the Knight’s Suite and the bed was so comfortable. The room and common areas were very clean and also nicely decorated. We loved sitting on the wrap around porch and exploring the property to visit the horses. Janice, the owner, was great! She made a delicious breakfast each morning and was both helpful and attentive. It’s the perfect place to relax.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn this month, and Janice was an absolutely superb host. Our dog Sarah was warmly welcomed (we were too) and we enjoyed our short stay immensely. It was a wonderful find in Monroe, a small town just outside Charlotte.

We stayed at the Inn for Valentine's weekend on 2015. It was the perfect getaway for Hector and I. Spirit led us here and it was right! The place is Immaculate, Luxurious and simply GRAND ! Starting from the view you get when standing on the porch that surrounds the plantation-like construction. Then, at night, the sky becomes a spectacle of light, an endless dome with ancient gods and goddesses illuminating down. But the best of all is the owner and host, Janice Smith. Her hospitality and exquisite cuisine will make you want to never leave

Had no idea this place was here and we are very happy we found it. Very comfortable, very quiet, and the owner is wonderful. We were celebrating and this was a beautiful place to do it. Spacious and country views with bullfrogs serenading you to sleep. We got up early and went for a walk to pet the horse and then were fed a wonderful breakfast. No negatives for this place.
