We arrived late and just wanted to unwind, watch a little tv and go to sleep. TV was not working. We called down to the front desk. First, she hung up, then, she let us know that she was busy and she would call right back. WE WAITED & She NEVER CALLED BACK! Mgr. needs to give some customer service training to this inattentive and uncaring young lady. This is not the way you handle customers! Mattresses were good, pillows deflated to almost nothing when you lay down, and bedding was comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Customer service gal in the morning was pleasantly opposite from the nighttime person. Morning gal was friendly and did anything & everything to help us. We’ve stayed here before. This is a first for having problems.

Spent 2 weeks at this hotel on a business trip at a client nearby. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Housekeeping is my prior appointment only which in COVID times is routine at most hotels these days. No complaints with that. Actually have come to prefer it. Breakfast is one person service at a time. All items are behind the counter and somebody has to get it for you. Good COVID adherence, though it takes some getting used to. Choices are not as much as pre COVID, but good enough. Ever since I checked in, I noticed that one of the 2 elevators was not working. For the first 2 days, I assumed it was just a coincidence that I always was riding on the elevator on the Left. But after going up and down about 25 times on just the 1 elevator I knew that the other one was broken. There was no sign saying so. I reported it to the front desk. They said they had not noticed anything. A day later, with no change, I report it again to the front desk. Still no acknowledgement that there could be a problem. On day 3, I report yet again to the front desk. This time I get a lady that insists that the elevator is working fine and she actually rode in it !!! Couple more days go by and I take to Twitter to complain. I get a response on Twitter from Marriott asking me for my name, date of birth, nature of problem, orientation of the planets at the time of my birth etc. in order to figure out what the problem is. I assure them that they have everything needed in terms of problem description in my Tweet if they chose to address the problem. 3 more days go by with Tweets and still no acknowledgement of the problem, no sign posted saying that the elevator is broke etc. Finally, one day I see a chain cross the broken elevator. Again no sign apologizing for the inconvenience etc. Just a chain across it. One is supposed to deduce that there is a problem. I finally get an email from the Manager saying that there is a problem with the elevator and the parts have been 'back ordered'. Now this is the year 2021. This is a Thyssen Krupp elevator. What part is 'back ordered' for 2 weeks or more?!?!?!? Seems like somebody did not pay a bill somewhere and the customers are the losers in the equation. A place where the customer comes last and there is no acknowledgement of an inconvenience.

I stay here quite frequently for both business and visiting family, and always have enjoyed my stay. It’s pretty standard for a Fairfield Inn, but the rooms always have seemed to be unusually clean, and the staff very attentive and friendly. Location is right off the interstate. Within walking distance are a couple of chains like Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesday, but a very short drive away, there’s almost anything you could want. Of the three at this exit, definitely recommend here!

We always stay here when we are in the area. It’s clean, new, and comfortable. Front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming. We get two queen beds when we go. Breakfast is hot and is served by a woman behind a row of tables. She also provides the coffee and water. Everyone was wearing a mask. We feel comfortable staying at this property.

I stayed at the Fairfield inn on Oct. 21, 2020. Check in: Fast, no issues. The Hampton Inn mebane told me when I arrived at 8pm that they were "overbooked" which was clearly a lie. Not sure what was going on, but the Fairfied Inn was so great we were glad to have stayed there. Covid: Staff was masked. Service was good. Room: clean, bed comfortable and everythin worked. full kitchen and plenty of room Food: During covid, not many options, but not hotel's fault. One person would serve the food. She was masked. Would definitely stay here again. Highlights: After having original reservations cancelled, this was a pleasant surprise. Hampton didn't even charge us for the night.
