My husband and I were at Cottages at Spring House Farms for our 10th anniversary. It was a great place to be along, we hiked, went into the hot tub, cooked dinner and had a wonderful time together alone. It is a great place for couples to go and relax and have alone time. The owners

We fell in love with this place in March 2015 and returning this year. We stayed in the Compleat Angler (our photos are available in traveler photos of the cabin). We went here for a romantic getaway to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. I could not say better things about this place. If you are looking for complete seclusion,... More

If you are looking for a family get-away, or a romantic week-end - this is the place! Our Home was "The Applachian" a 200 year old farmhouse, with very few updates, as wooden turn knobs for inside doors and cabinets. It would be an amazing experience for parents teaching their children about life in the early 1900's. a pond was... More

We stayed here for our anniversary last year and we are going back again for our 25th this year. The privacy and romance was everything we weren't expecting! Yes, you read that right. Far beyond our expectations. It was just amazing. We will be going back here for many years to come. The fresh eggs and homemade bread every day... More

We stayed here nothing but amazing fresh bread, eggs, amazing view and no cell signal. Talk about the best last minute type of get away! P.S it's the little things on the property that make it amazing, you will just have to see for your self. Thanks zee for all you do !

Cannot say enough about the host, Zee, who welcomed us and provided our cabin with fresh homemade bread & fresh hen eggs. They also prepared the fireplace so all we had to do was light it…however, it never got cold. Be prepared for quiet…no cell phone service, no internet, no cable. All you hear are the leaves blowing in the... More

We spent a wonderful extended weekend in the Bimini cabin. We were on a motorcyle, so it was challenging to get in and out of due to the big rocks on the dirt road, but Zee did offer use of the golf cart if needed. The hot tub was wonderful after so many miles on the road each day. It... More

First, the property is lovely. It's very peaceful and calming. And we loved Jerry Lee, the resident dog. He went with us on hikes and accompanied us to our cabin several times! Great dog! We rented "The Reach" which is probably the remotest cabin, and it was nice. I think it was a little more rustic that we were expecting--no... More

I surprised my boyfriend with a trip here for our 1 year anniversary and we had such an amazing stay!! We even took the dogs and they were in Heaven :) Our GPS got us here just fine, we stayed at the Outrigger which is deep in the woods, very private and perfect for a relaxing retreat. We hiked both... More

It was good fortune that I somehow came across this website while surfing for a peaceful retreat near Asheville. The drive to Spring House Farm winds around mountains, and is beautiful at dusk. I was ill equipped with no GPS and poor directions so the drive, which should have been 50-60 minutes, ended up being longer. The hunt was well... More
