What a beautiful property,. Clean, well taken care of and it shows! Shaded by a canopy of trees and beautiful flowers and plants! The creek that surrounds the property is breath taking! Husband and I enjoyed our first trip there and we will go back...More

Janice, it was so wonderful having you and your husband stay with us on our beautiful land! We love hearing you both had such a great time, and we can't wait till next time you come out for a relaxing vacation.
One of the nicest campgrounds we've been to. The park is kept in pristine condition, not a blade of grass out of place. The park is in a Forrest setting with a babbling creek running behind 2/3s of the sites, which lulls you to sleep...More

Thank you for the kind comments. We try very hard to make this a place people want to come back to and comments like yours really make the effort worthwhile. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you'll come back to visit again.
This was our first trip in the camper and it was a great stay. We booked site 28 at the recomendation of the owners. It was easy to back into and on the stream with a raised platform. The grounds were beautifully maintained and there...More

This is one of the nicest RV campgrounds we have been to. Situated in the mountains and not to far from Boone. Really close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Very quiet and secluded campground. The owners (live on property) are very friendly and helpful. Well...More

Let me start by stating that this site is extremely clean and well maintained. A lot of the sites are a good size, although some of the sites towards the entrance are much skinnier. Make sure you book a site deeper into the campground if...More

We're sorry to hear that you didn't have a better time with us, and we apologize if we came across as anything other than friendly and welcoming on your visit. As we make clear on our website, we are limited on the amount of WiFi...More
We have a site booked in the near future and I have a few questions. Are the sites level and how is the drive up? We have a pop-up camper and are still learning how to use it. We have very little experience driving in the mountains with it and no experience parking in sites that are not level.
Any suggestions for close by things to do? We have been to Linville Falls and caverns already, so we want to explore something new. We are traveling with our 8 year old, so something child friendly would be nice.
Also, we will be celebrating our anniversary when we travel. We would like to grab a nice anniversary lunch while we are out exploring the area. Any suggestions?
We can not wait to be sitting by the stream at MSRVP and taking in all that nature has for us!

All of our sites are level. The last 5 miles on Hwy 80 are curvy, but not enough to be a problem - we get 40 & 45 ft 5th wheels and motorhomes up here regularly. There are a number of things to do in the area. The Orchard at... More
All of our sites are level. The last 5 miles on Hwy 80 are curvy, but not enough to be a problem - we get 40 & 45 ft 5th wheels and motorhomes up here regularly. There are a number of things to do in the area. The Orchard at Altapass (just off the Blue Ridge Parkway new Little Switzerland, Emerald Village is a working gem mine near Little Switzerland that offers mine tours and you can buy buckets of dirt from the mine and do your own gem hunting. There is a mineral museum on the Parkway near Spruce Pine and the Folk Art Center on the Parkway near Swannanoa. There are also a number of waterfalls and hiking trails in the area.
As for restaurants, there is Fatz on the north side of Marion, Countryside Barbeque on the south side of Marion and a couple of small trendy restaurants in downtown Marion.
