We have stayed at Misty Creek Log Cabins in the past. With all the craziness this year, we decided we needed a getaway where we could relax and feel safe with a beautiful change of scenery. Fortunately our calendar and cabin availability synced and we spent the last several days in NC. As before, Bob is a great host, the cabin was immaculate, and we felt so secluded yet not far from anything we might want to visit. And the brownies are wonderful! Thank you, Bob, for a delightful experience!

We just got back from staying at Misty Creek and had a wonderful time. The cabin was exceptionally clean, had everything you needed for your stay, etc. The location can't be beat and the creek right off the covered porch was so peaceful sounding. Bob the owner was so personable and even made us brownies, they were still warm!!! Just can't say enough wonderful things. We will be back soon!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in the cabin and it was perfect. Nice and clean! Our friends stayed in the other cabin. The owner, Bob, was very accommodating and welcomed us with warm brownies and a quick overview of the cabin and also gave us some suggestions of favorites in the area. The location is perfect. We did a day trip to Asheville and then to Cherokee and Gatlinburg. We spent our final day exploring Maggie Valley area. Soco Falls hike to the waterfall, Frog Level Brewery, Elevated Distillery, and the snow ❄️ were the highlights of the day. It was so nice to come back each evening and enjoy the back porch and listen to the stream flowing before. Wonderful location! We will be back!

It’s cool when friends/families from the same area or different parts of the country meet here. Since I only have the two cabins it makes it even nicer for them that they have the whole place so to speak. So happy that y’all enjoyed your visit and also had a little snow. I appreciate your business Lauren and your nice review. Thank you.

Hubby and I planned a weekend getaway to visit Wheels through time Museum. Booked this cabin for around same $ as a motel, it's much larger(2 rooms, bathroom and full size kitchen) and right across the street from the museum. Plus our porch overlooks a babbling creek.

We had a wonderful stay at Misty Creek Cabin 2! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing time. The rocking chairs on the porch were perfect for morning coffee to evening wine. The stream running by offers a peaceful atmosphere. The cabin location is near restaurants and shops. Due to COVID restrictions we chose to make this trip filled with outdoor excursions. We went to see various waterfalls on different days that were close. Waynesville is close and had the best grocery store, Ingles, which offered a wide selection. Bob the owner of the cabin was so nice and made our stay even sweeter with his delicious brownies. The correspondence with him was easy and helpful. We would love to stay here again.

We have just returned home from our wonderful trip to beautiful Maggie Valley and Misty Creek Log Cabins. It was our combined 35th anniversary trip and our resent retirement trip. As always we enjoyed our stay in the quite and beautiful Misty Creek Log Cabin. Bob is a great host and makes delicious brownies for everyone who visits with him! He is very hospitable and makes good suggestions of places to eat and visit while we are in the valley. We love the cabin and sitting on the porch enjoying the cool mountain air and the sound of the babbling creek. We even seen our first Elk on this trip! We are already looking forward to our next trip!

We stayed in cabin 1 and enjoyed it immensely. The cabin was very private and had a nice porch with a creek view. The sound of the creek was quite enjoyable when drinking morning coffee (coffee provided). The cabin was in close proximity to restaurants and shopping in Maggie Valley. Bob was very hospitable and knowledgeable about things to do and places to see in the area. We hope to come back soon.

From pre-planning to the end of our vacation,it was EXCELLENT. Bob, the owner was so accomodating, friendly and informative. He bakes fresh brownies for all of his guests...a nice welcoming touch. Our cabin was clean, very comfortable and well appointed with anything you could need for living in a home away from home. We could sit on our back porch or in the living room or bedroom to enjoy quiet time and the song of the creek. We can't wait to return to Maggie Valley and Misty Creek Log Cabins for another stay.
THANK YOU BOB!

You’re quite welcome and thank YOU for your business/nice review. “Quiet time and the Song of the Creek”, I like that especially in a year like this, 2020. I enjoy that Song also when I’m down at the cabins. Thanks again and just know you are both welcome back anytime. Have a nice day.

This is our 3rd trip to Maggie Valley and Misty Creek Cabins. We called at the last moments notice and thankfully Bob was able to squeeze us in. The cabin never disappoints. I sat out on the back porch and listened to the little creek all night. Perfect location if you are visiting the gem mines, Blueridge Parkway trails or Wheels through Time Museum. Bob is a wonderful host! Thanks for the brownies!!! Cindy & Tim, Hockley, TX

Well, Bob did it again. He is the owner and he will make your stay one you won’t forget. We were just there for a week and We are going back for two weeks in October for our twenty second visit since we started going to Misty Creek Log Cabins.

You will feel right at home since Bob goes out of his way to accommodate your needs while visiting. The cabins are very clean and they have a very cozy and homey atmosphere. They have covered porches with lots of trees surrounding them. We love spending time on the back porch and just relaxing.

The brownies he makes are to die for!!!

You will be very happy that you picked Misty Creek Log Cabins for your stay in Maggie Valley.

WOW! I didn't even know this was here. I just happened on to it. I appreciate the other comments by guests. I've been told before that when people fill out the contact page on my website that it doesn't go through. It does come through and sometimes twice. I mentioned it to my webmaster and he says nothing is wrong with it and it keeps happening. Go figure.

Hi-the phone number is 828-926-6375. Bob is a most gracious host and makes sure all your needs are met. The cabin is conveniently located approx. 1 mile off Soco Road; turn between J.Arthurs and the fire station.
