Spent the weekend at Creekside Lodge. The rooms were clean but well used. Counter trim was peeling off. Air conditioning unit is functional but loud. There are no blackout curtains so ambient light from the hotel and surrounding area doesn't allow the room to be dark. This motel does not have breakfast. Staff was friendly.

Stayed here for 3 days over the July 4th holiday. I had a spacious, spotless handicap room with 1 queen bed and rockers on my front porch as well as my back porch on the creek. The handicap bathroom had a raised toliet with a bar and the tub/shower had bars, a seat, and a handheld shower head. There was extra... More

I was blown away by how cool this place was. I could park my bike right at the front door to my room and sit in the rockers. The back porch was great to sit out and listen to the creek. The room was clean as could be and very comfortable. Carrol made sure we were happy and had everything... More

The recently renovated MVCR is a great place to stay, especially for motorcyclists. Pretty much every hotel in that area has a supportive motorcyclist attitude because so many people ride and stay there. This location is run by Carol, who is very helpful to large groups and individuals. We had about 40 bikes and 45 people in a group, several... More

Creekside Lodge is a great place for a fun getaway! Creek is right out back and the sound of the water is very soothing. Rooms have been renovated with flat screens, new mattresses and carpet. Rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and outgoing. We had a car meet there April 29-May 1 and they provided us with... More

We was staying at the lodge for 1 night, in connection to a visit to the Museum "Wheels Through Times". It was a nice please, clean and peaceful. We where there with a kid. No problem - nice service as well! We would not hesitate to use this place again - if we went to the Smokey Mountain again. The... More

I booked this hotel at the last minute in peak season. As far as I had found, it was one of the few rooms left in Maggie Valley that weekend. The hotel is older, as are most of the hotels in the area, the televisions are small and outdated, but this was an extermely clean hotel. The bed, at first... More

The room was clean and the views were great! Only downfall was the rooms are noisy. Could hear everyone above us walking. We had a 1st floor end unit, if I stay again, would get the 2nd floor end unit. Also the office doesn't open until 9am. All and all, clean and good price .

I was planning a trip to North Carolina for the first time with my family and we found this hotel, not knowing how wonderful, clean and excellent view we were encountered. The rooms were so spacious, Jacuzzi inside the room, all amenities that we needed to feel comfortable were there, the room service was the best. The front desk personnel... More

Wonderful place so relaxing. One of the cleanest motels I ever have stayed. Make sure to enjoy BBQ and fire right out your back deck on the creek. No fish this time but the water was moving. Colors in the trees were beautiful. Great weather for this Florida family.
