This is a relatively large place that is dated. It is reasonably well maintained but it definitely shows its age. Our room was clean and relatively spacious and we did not hear noise from any other room. The covered parking for motorbikes was a nice touch. The lobby offered coffee and a muffin in the morning but I was never tempted as they were the type of baked good you might find individually packaged at a gas station. The maid service was inconsistent (i.e. no water bottles when we arrived, but each day after that, and the towels left on the racks for re-use were replaced each day) but that isn't a big deal. The toilet frequently required a second flush to finish the task. The on-site restaurant was convenient with a selection of items. I only ate there once and the buffet was plentiful and cheap but definitely low-end quality and taste. My travelling companion had an impressive club house sandwich and the pizza looked very tasty.

We recently stayed here to attend a wedding in the area. This hotel is older and shows its age, but it was very clean, quite comfortable and all the staff was very helpful. The restaurant has great food, including pizza, and the bartender makes a terrific bloody mary. I'd probably give the physical hotel 3 stars, maybe 4, but the staff is so great I'm giving it 5. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Family reunion time in the summer months in western NC mountains! We learned that this place has good food. Oh yes it does! And the staff from the bartenders to the front desk were the best! Had some issues that Marilyn helped us with. Great fun with Shellie and Jimmy too. We all felt at home here and will be back.

Could not get on WiFi. No hairdryer in room. No indoor pool. No free continental breakfast was gonna be charged 10.00 plus tax to eat. Could not pull up under entrance to check in because motorcycles were parked everywhere. Hard to find a parking place at all because of all the trailers using up parking spaces also. Ladies at desk were very nice but couldn’t help with any of our situations. Will not be back or recommend.

Small pool and outdoor bar was a nice touch to this hotel. The lobby is nice and there is a restaurant and indoor bar as well. The rooms are very dated. Our kingsize bed was hard, it had a vinyl liner on it that made me sweat, and the sheets were scratchy. The tub had a vinyl liner glued down to it that was coming loose/deteriorating and "guck" came out and clogged the tub. They had to come and replace it at my request. Location is good.
