Great people doing their absolute best in an outdated facility. The location is fantastic and the creek side rooms have that wonderful, relaxing creek sound on the balconies, but the physical facilities are lacking. The carpets are old and in need of replacement. In many cases chairs/furniture are chipped or out right broken. The people however do their utmost to... More

The Good: As far as an old, old, worn motel, this was CLEAN. The housekeeping staff did a GREAT job! You could tell the mattresses were older but they weren't bad and the pillows were comfortable so sleep wise. It was adequate. The creek is pretty although you can see the back of a creepy shed and a cabin or... More

Had a king room with hot tub. The king bed wasn't as big as mine at home. The hot tub was quieter than I expected. The freezer in the mini fridge needed to be defrosted and cleaned (looked like freeze pops had dripped froze). Bed was comfortable. Room smelled a bit. Room was quiet until some kids moved in upstairs.... More

My husband and I spent a couple of days in the mountains. We had a wonderful time, in Maggie Valley. The hotel was very nice, it was just a little hard, to take our luggage up the stairs. It has a lovely balcony, over looking the river.

Stayed there in July 2016. Nice back balcony overlooking a creek. Clean modern rooms. Very comfortable beds as well. About a 45 min drive to Smokey Mountain National Park. Continental breakfast served every morning. Small indoor pool. Snacks and drinks sold in the lobby. Worth a stay.

The area scenery is breath taking and the friendly people at the Ramada make for a relaxing and most comfortable stay. Kathy who worked the 3 to 11 shift was a cheerful and most helpful lady that provided me and my biker friends with local area "best eats" and sight seeing interests around Maggie Valley N.C. Great Ramada Hotel with... More

The area was awesome, but the hotel needs some attention. The staff was extremely friendly. Our room was located on the creek which was very nice, but the carpet was wet and the room had fleas. The whole hotel had an odor, but was worse in the room. Nothing some febreeze didn't take care of.
