someone had smoked in the room ,even though it is a non smoking hotel (which is why I booked at this property). Apparently the staff knew this but rented the room anyway. AND the staff left the window open (I assume to air it out ) , the outside temp was 32 degrees, so it took a long time to... More

Extreamly rude and nasty hotel staff made our stay extreamly unpleasant to the point we departed the hotel much earlier then planned. Hotel is very old and outdated not worth the value. Not the standard of a Ramada hotel. This hotel is clearly independent owned and operated operating not under the Ramada standards

Rustic but not a dump! Excellent staff (old lady) who was just a hoot! Small/quaint & a pleasant surprise. All the amenities of a large chain w/o the cost! Nice creek out back & rocking chairs! Cant wait til morning to see the view! Excellent choice!

This is the only place I have stayed in Maggie Valley. Mrs. Debra (Kathy) older lady is the best. Love her! Creekside room was amazing especially doing the summer but really enjoyed it around Halloween

Average room, could use some upgrades, clean enough. Creekside balcony was great-loved sitting in the rocking chairs listening to the water! Breakfast was average-could have more variety.

We stayed here for a night. The room was clean. The balcony was overlooking a beautiful creek. The reception staff was quite friendly. The overall atmosphere was peaceful. Also had a full continental breakfast. It is quite close to a few good restaurants.

I do not recommend this hotel!!! We work nights so my company requested an early check in. Upon arrival, the first gentleman had problems logging into the computer but said he found our reservations but the rooms were not available because they rented out our rooms. So he suggested that we wait until the next manager arrives at 5am. She... More

Clean hotel with a balcony overlooking a beautiful creek with rocking chairs. Very serene, peaceful, and oh so relaxing. Also has a continental breakfast. Reasonable rates. Located on Soco Road, the main road of Maggie Valley.
