we arrived at tthe hotel on 7/24/15 for a weekend getaway. there were 8 women so we stayed at the Diamond Back Lodge. it was perfect because it had 8 bedroooms with full size beds each had its own closet, bathroom and tv. there is a full porch with rocking chairs and a common area. Although the breakfast left a...

I surprised my husband with an overnight for his birthday here. I learned that on Friday nights only, they offer a fabulous seafood buffet. Difficult to find in North Carolina, their restaurant offered a selection for true seafood lovers! All you can eat crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, oysters, salad bar, fish..on and on. The hotel itself is older and the...

Allen was our server and was a great help in pairing our wine with entrees. The roasted duck and porkchop was made perfectly. The thick pork chop was slightly dry, but not enough to ruin the meal in the least. The inn itself had great accommodations as my wife and I stayed in the Balsam Cottage. We are looking forward...

I stayed 4 nights at the Diamondback motorcycle lodge. I was on my motorcycle trip riding the BRP for the first time. I found the accomadations excellent. The hospitality and the views are wonderful. Jennifer in the pub is a sweetheart. All of the staff are accomodating. I will return at some point

My husband and I celebrate our wedding anniversary every year for many years at Switzerland Inn and it is such a great place. We would not consider any other place to go. We enjoy the room, food and fellowship with other guests. We will return next year.

The Switzerland Inn reminded me so much of the Old Faithful Inn that is located in Yellowstone National Park. Beautiful common area that was filled with comfy chairs, great views of the mountains and lots of board games. The rooms were nice and everything was very clean and inviting. The rocking chairs that were outside on a patio faced the...

Really enjoyed our stay even though it was short. Gorgeous view of the mountains. Comfotable bed, nice bath, quaint gathering room. Very welcoming and every person was so helpful. Quiet but child friendly. Even the early morning fog is enjoyable.

We came for a 5 day vacation and had a very nice time. We stayed in the Caprice cottage which is nice and secluded for a couple. The restaurant at the Lodge is very good however a bit pricey. The portions served were large enough to share and the staff was very accommodating. There are trails nearby and small shops...

I was a little skeptical at first but I have to say, The Switzerland Inn was amazing! The food was absolutely fantastic (a wide variety of choices) and the staff was so friendly. I wasn't too positive where I wanted to eat, the outside and in were both beautiful but the manager Sharon helped me with that, putting me outside...
