I went with a group of vintage campers and we had a great time! The restrooms were super clean all the time. They have a nice pavilion for group meals and a great playground for the kids. Sites have privacy fences that don't totally block your view, but give some separation and a feeling of privacy. The owners were super... More

The restrooms, campsites, and the whole campground are well maintained by some very nice and helpful people. There's even a coin-fed washer and dryer for general use. That said, some trailer sites are more roomy than others, many have full hookups. We stayed in one of the trailer sites that were VERY close together. Backing in was tricky, and getting... More

I brought my family up for the weekend to go hiking at Linville Falls, and decided to stay at this campground. We usually camp between 8 and 10 times a year, and I can honestly say that this is on our short list of places to return. The owners were very friendly, the campground was immaculate, and the playground and... More

Locust Loft is one of the most unique cabins I have ever stayed in! We loved the outdoor kitchen! There is a little privacy fence along the front, which was nice to have. The cabin and outdoor kitchen were fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was nice to only have to pack food and clothes to go... More

A family run campground just off the Parkway. Very very well tended, with flowerpots and other cheerful touches throughout. They have nice primitive campsites but for $5 more you have a site with water and electricity. Showers are beyond spotless, looking as if they're cleaned hourly. Their small office/store is packed with groceries and they have a huge playground with... More

I recently went camping there over the fourth of July weekend. I found all the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. I used one of the primitive campsites and found the prices to be quite fair. Everything was easy to find and the site was very quiet at night. I never heard anyone being loud or obnoxious. It's set... More

Nice people. Easy check-in. Very close to Linville Falls. RV sites are a little crowded. HATE the street light shining right into my camping spot. Came to camp under the stars, not on a street corner.

We have stayed at Linville Falls twice. Both times were perfect. The cabins were clean and the owners are extremely kind and helpful. They give you maps and very good directions to find different hiking trails. We particularly liked the Loft cabin. It is so cute and having the outdoor kitchen made you feel like you were camping. The cabin... More

Originally planned to stay 3 days. Decided to stay, on a holiday weekend, there were no sites available but they opened up a site they were using for storage, and cleaned it up so I could stay a total of 11 days. Towards the end of my stay I felt like part of the crew, as one of the guys... More
