We loved our visit with Eric and Norma in Averys Cottage. We brought our dog with us and he was welcomed with open arms. The cottage was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was scrumptious and Norma's hospitality was superb. Can't wait to visit them again!

The owners do everything to be sure you enjoy your stay. The gourmet breakfast is heavenly. My husband loved the coffee! The area has lots of unique things to explore and Asheville is only 80 miles away. Boone, Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain are really close. Enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B.

We stayed in the Helen Haven cottage. So comfortable and clean . Amazing hospitality. Not much around in walking distance..but plenty in a short driving distance. We loved walking up to the roosters across the street!

The Story: Back in 2015, I began emailing Norma and Eric some pretty interesting details. These details included my proposal plans that were to take place at this beautiful property. My wife and I (Not married at the time) had stayed at the Gable Haus before and knew of its charm and wonderful company. Norma and Eric were so happy...

Oh what a prime location! Stay here to feel like your a million miles away from it all, yet you're really only 15-20 minutes from Blowing Rock, Boone, etc. We stayed in Ruffin Retreat, one of the cottages off to the back of the main house. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Norma, whom was very pleasant and took us...

The Gable Haus is a gorgeous bed and breakfast with wonderful hosts. People from all over the world stay at this home with cottages. We stayed in the Cherokee Rose which is very spacious, has...

We loved the Gable Haus Innkeepers- Norma and Eric show their passion and love for the Linville community by providing an excellent Bed and Breakfast where visitors feel comfortable and cozy. Their passion shows by the quality of their service - comfortable beds, excellent coffee and superb breakfast. When we return to Linville, the Gable Haus is our "go to"B&B".

Gable Haus Inn is an absolute work of art. Norma actually knows how to paint, very well. Her home is an inviting place to relax, rejuvenate, and reflect. Eric is an artist in the kitchen. When we tell you that breakfast never tasted and looked so good, we mean it wholeheartedly to the point that we will be flying him...

My husnad and myself spent a weekend away in Linville, NC. We had booked the Avery Cottage a month in advance, and were quite pleased. We received a warm welcome by Norma and Eric, who take great pride in their home and business. The gardens were beautiful, and our cottage was quaint. We thoroughly enjoyed our amazing breakfasts (Eric is...

If you want fancy accommodations where everything 'matches' and one room is the same as the next, don't stay here. You will hate it. And so you will miss an opportunity to stay in charmingly decorated accommodations, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Not to mention a fabulous hot breakfast that starts with the most divine coffee ever and homemade granola. With...
