I was traveling with my husband on business in Lenoir, N.C. After reading great reviews we decided to stay at the Irish Rose Bed and Breakfast. What an absolute treat it was! Rose the owner is as sweet and welcoming as can be, and makes you feel right at home. The Bed and Breakfast is a gorgeous home with lovely,... More

My husband and I visited this wonderful B &B while our daughter was in camp. Rose was so welcoming and she even had fresh cookies for us. The house was beautiful just like a B&B should be. The breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend this B&B to everyone. I hope to return next year. Lenoir is great small town.

I had to be in Lenoir for a Training. I always look for Bed and Breakfast Establishments. The Irish Rose is a real treat. The rooms are large and I had a Private Bathroom. It's 15 minutes from Blowing Rock. I enjoyed the conversation with the Owner, Rose and the breakfast was really good too. I recommend this Bed and... More

Our host, Rose, owner of The Irish Rose, provides an historical and beautiful B&B which delighted us and exceeded any expectations we held before our visit. The rooms and suites are each a masterpiece of interior design and historical insight. We were very comfortable there. We drew Lorraine's Hideaway, which was so comfortable. The adjacent and dedicated bathroom was well... More

This is a very charming B&B in a gorgeous locale, run by Rose, a lovely Canadian woman. It also comes with two bonus housemates: a fluffy orange cat named Morris and an adorable puppy named Finnigan. I'm sure Rose would keep them out of your way if desired but I enjoyed having them both around. Rose pays attention to every... More

My daughter and I were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Rose had cookies waiting for us when we arrived, and coffee, tea and other beverages and snacks were available at all times. She recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner, and her breakfast was amazing! The rooms are quiet, spacious and comfortable, there is free in-room... More

The house, the bedroom and the hostess Rose all combined to make this a wonderful B&B experience. Rose covered everything, big and small. Breakfast was at time of our choosing and selected the night before from 4 choices. It was delicious. Rose had suggestions for dinner options in town and cookies on the counter. Robes were a nice touch and... More

1st, the house is completely amazing and immaculate. 2nd, the owner "Rose" is a complete doll. She is Canadian, however, she is the epitome of Southern Hospitality. Very friendly and makes you feel you are right at home. She is also a wonderful cook and the choices provided for breakfast made me want to just move in on a permanent... More

This B&B is fantastic. The owner, Rose, is awesome. Her breakfasts are beyond delicious and she goes out of her way to make her guests feel at home. She made adjustments for my gluten free diet and is always willing to go that extra mile!! Highly recommend-if you are in the area-don't miss this 'gem'! JandM (Durham NC)
