The pictures for this delightful bed and breakfast do not begin to do it justice. Wildberry Lodge is tucked into the mountainside approximately 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, and boy is it worth the drive! I booked the Gooseberry room for a last minute weekend getaway for me and my boyfriend. From the moment we arrived we were taken aback...

This luxury log-cabin-style B&B is exceptional in many ways. Built high on a hillside in scenic country, less than half-an-hour drive from downtown Asheville, the lodge is impressive from the outside and amazing on the inside, with an enormous cathedral ceiling above the great room and windows facing the mountains. The owners and their team are wonderful, friendly hosts for...

First of all the advertising done for this facility online does not do it justice. It was so much better as well as even more beautiful in person. Everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and all the little details meant a lot. The breakfast was wonderful. Ken and Glenda were wonderful hosts and made their lodge feel as though it were...

Pros: beautiful views, wonderfully built large log cabin, loved the towel warmer in our suite bathroom, enjoyed the shuffle board in the game room, lodge is close to everything but in the country so evenings are quiet Cons: was disappointed that there was no mention of animals in the description of the inn online...while we love animals, when a person...

We stayed here for a weekend and were very impressed. We wanted a quiet retreat and this was it. The views from the breakfast room and decks are spectacular. After dinner in town (Asheville is about 20 mins away) we came back and drank a glass of wine looking at the stars from the deck. The room was large and...

A last moment thought to get out of town to celebrate our 33rd anniversary. Found this jewel online. From the moment we got there we felt right at home. Very friendly hosts who makes your stay very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Stayed in the gooseberry room with our own balcony with the best view. Loved this B&B.

Simply put - Treat yourself to this fantastic, relaxing experience. I booked it as part of a surprise getaway weekend in Asheville for my girlfriend. A small Friday through Sunday stay. From the moment we drove through the "gap" in the road to the breathtaking view, we were speechless. From there we arrived at the most amazing custom built cabin...

What a great place to spend a few days. Ken and Glenda were wonderful hosts. The Wildberry Lodge is beautiful. The lodge itself was amazing. Our room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Gooseberry room and the view was outstanding. The common areas were inviting and cozy. A fire crackling in the fireplace every morning at breakfast. And...

This place is amazing!!! Sets on top of a mountain overlooking the other Smokey Mountains. The view is absolutely amazing, one side of the Bed and Breakfast has a picturesque window overlooking the land, to watch the sunset. A huge fireplace keeps you toasty as you relax on a cold snowy evening which happened on of the days we went,...
