From my first interaction over the phone to get a reservation, I had a feeling this would be a welcoming motel. No impersonal operator in a remote location to take my call, it was the owner taking my information personally. My impression was proved correct at the easy check in. Rooms were spotless and vintage. Pool was sparkling clean. Nice... More

We stayed there for five days and made day trips to surrounding places. The price was under $60.00 and the room was large, clean, and the beds were really comfortable. The people were overly friendly and helpful. The morning coffee and rolls were always ready, fresh, and delicious. We plan to stay there again when we go back in April.

Currently on week 9 of a 13 weeks stay... I love it here.... No it isn't shiny and new, but it is very clean, comfy & cozy.... The view out my door/window is a park like setting with beautiful mature trees lining the cobblestone drive, I have a picnic table outside my door, there is hedges and split rail fencing.... More

I recently stayed here for two nights. Dave and Jerry were very accommodating and truly exemplify what the hospitality industry is all about. Staying here hearkens back to a kinder , gentler time with lovely trees, landscaping and lots of green space. No corridors or elevators to contend with ! Ample well-lit parking. Rooms are a nice size , comfortable... More

I stayed here a few years ago and wanted to stay again in March of 2014 , but they were full . Unfortunately , there was some construction project going on and all the hotels in town were full and I had to stay at the Scotland Inn . Do your best to not stay at the Scotland Inn ,... More

Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms. Very quiet surroundings. Microwave and small fridge in each room makes it easy to eat well away from home. There is a nice restaurant a short walk from the hotel; ate there one night and the food was very good! Across the street is a convenience store that serves some really good fish on Fridays! The... I have been staying at Pine Acres for years, whenever I visit Laurinburg for functions at St. Andrews University. The staff is always pleasant and the rooms are always clean. I wrote a review a couple of years ago but this time decided to take a couple of photos to try to give you a sense of the place. They... More

I visited this property last weekend with my bagpipe corp, the City of Chattanooga Pipeband. We were in town for the Scotland County Highland Games. We had a block of rooms at Pine Acres for our band mates. I arrived around 9-930pm and yes, had to ring a bell at the front desk, but the female clerk inside was friendly... More

We stayed here when we took our daughter to St. Andrews University. It was clean and well priced. It is not far from the University or the barn. Would stay here again. My husband has stayed several times and he likes it.

“this hotel has limited non smoking rooms but when you book a room, you won't get any smell coming through the walls from other rooms. I only rarely heard noises from other rooms. There aren't any of the amenities the other area hotels have but the cleanliness, quiet and extremely friendly, helpful staff more than make up for not having a breakfast buffet/coffee bar”
