Stayed here for a few days in August while attending the Dirty Dancing Festival. If you enjoy history this is the place to stay and relax! You'll get to take a trip back in time in this early 1900s historic inn. Be prepared for real silver serving pieces and a view of the

My husband and I spent two nights at the Inn. The restaurants had a very warm and fresh atmospheric. Y&r room was small, but quaint and completely. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helped. We are going back this summer for a week. I highly recommend this Inn.

Dear Renee, Thank you for your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it’s feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We are sorry to hear that you reported the problem at check out as we have an efficient and responsive maintenance department that resolves reported issues immediately. Because guest satisfaction is top priority, if a maintenance issue can’t be resolved quickly, we are happy to relocate guests to a new room. In your particular situation, we are pleased that management discounted your room rate as an apology for your dissatisfaction. We hope you will give us another try in the future as this is not indicative of our accommodations. Sincerely, The 1927 Lake Lure Inn & Spa

Do the rooms have water views from balconies?
There are a few select rooms with direct water views, but they are limited to the Swayze suite and the Fitzgerald suite, and a couple of king rooms. The Overlook cabin has a full elevated porch with seating that overlooks the lake, but none of the hotel rooms have balconies, only windows.
