my friend and i recently stayed at the Cypress House Inn when visiting the outer banks. Very nice inn with very nice owners (and the sweetest dog)l The room was spacious enough, bright and clean. Breakfast was good the first morning. Second morning we did not have time to eat as we were on the go a lot. When Veda... More

We stayed at the Cypress House Inn for a few days in September 2016. It is conveniently located on the beach road in Kill Devil Hills, right across a public access to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Easy, complimentary, parking in front of the Inn. Even though we didn't truly like Kill Devil Hills (too busy, too... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review, we appreciate our guests and like to hear about their stays! I know future guests will find your review very helpful. The Pamlico is actually one of our smaller rooms with a smaller bathroom. We have two queen rooms, two kings rooms and a suite that has... More

We just spent another 4 wonderful nights at the Cyprus House Inn in Kill Devil Hills (KDH). This time we flew our son and his girlfriend down from NYC for a break, and to enjoy this great B&B, and naturally, the beach! They loved it as well. Access to the beach is right across the street from the Cyprus House.... More

We had a great 2 days with Bill and Veda at this delightful B&B. As travellers making this a short stop we were particularly pleased to have beach towels provided along with beach chairs and parasol. The room (No 7) was really lovely and the common areas (which we barely used) were also very nice. A great breakfast around a... More

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Cypress House Inn. Right after we arrived, a tropical storm hit the Outer Banks and our hosts made sure that we had a fantastic time while being forced to stay inside. Breakfast was spectacular every single day and the hospitality of Veda and Bill made us feel right at home.... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights and 3 days in the Outer Banks taking in the sights and relaxing on the beach. The Cypress House Inn was the perfect place to stay while vacationing in the Outer Banks. The owner, Bill, and his dog, Sassy, were the perfect hosts. The Inn was well-kept, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast each morning... More

It was our first trip to the OBX, and we sure did pick a good one! The location is very close to the beach, and near the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Our room (#8) was wonderfully appointed. The bathroom was recently renovated with top notch materials. While the facilities were nice, the hosts were the best, starting with Sassy the... More

This is the 12th time we have stayed at the property. We keep coming back because we have always been treated like part of the family. Bill and Veda, the Innkeepers, make sure our stay is fun and enjoyable, by making suggestions for day trips and any new places to dine. We are now looking forward to our "lucky" 13th... More

Like staying at B&Bs and this was a good one. Historical home on the beach road with beach access across the street. Veda and Bill are wonderful innkeepers, very helpful with recommendations and information, and you instantly feel like family. Gourmet breakfast each morning and we did our own happy hour on the side porch each night where there was... More

My daughter and I enjoyed an overnight stay at Bill and Veda's dream of a B&B! Having just lost my husband, the Inn added so much to the needed restoration which was the purpose of our trip. Our room was huge, clean and cosy all with a view of the dunes. The bathroom was nicer that any at home with... More

We so enjoyed your short, but sweet visit with us! The best part of owning an Inn is the people that we meet and being a small part of their journey. We hope you made it back to SC refreshed and ready for the next chapter in both of your lives. Our best to you! More
