We found this Bed and Breakfast to be very comfortable. It's hard for me to find a decent mattress and bed when I'm away from home but the Hummingbird Room was cozy and relaxing. We had a great stay here and Rachel couldn't have been nicer. Right in the heart of the town walking distance from everywhere. The house could stand some upgrades but it was fine with us. Good breakfast and coffee and plenty good restaurants right there. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Thank you very much for your review and glad you enjoyed your stay. Rachel is wonderful and guests do love her. The Belle is almost 100 years old and it has always been our goal to keep her as original as possible and not to disturb the original look and feel. Our prices reflect this and should one want a more upgraded BnB there are more expensive options in Hot Springs.

The location was good, facilities were clean and the host was nice when approached. I would recommend staying there but I will say after reading past reviews talking about breakfast we found the continental style breakfast to be marginal at its best and a little disappointing. The good thing is that there is a very good restaurant across the street. Also if you would like to use a wash cloth to bathe with bring your own because hey don’t have any which was a little odd. We stayed in the Hummingbird room which was very nice and comfortable. I glanced in the door of another room and it appeared to also be nice. We did use the fire pit they advertised and had to go find wood to burn which was ok. We noticed there was old wood there but it was rotten. Also the fire pit furniture was not useable due the the seats being rotted away. Again it’s a nice little place and would recommend it but I am giving a fair honest review so you know what to expect.

Thank you for your candid review. Sorry that our continental breakfast was not to your liking. The Belle is the affordable B&B in Hot Springs and in the past never heard anything negative about our breakfast. There are other more pricey B&B's close by that serve a full breakfast so perhaps that would have been a better choice for you...you will pay much more. Never heard wood referred to as rotten....my experience that old wood is dry wood and burns really well, certainly did not need to purchase any. Oops on the washcloth.

Stayed there overnight while visiting Hot Springs. Rachael was wonderfully helpful, the house is beautiful, and very close by to anything in Hot Springs. We had a good quiet and restful night. Thanks! We'll be back

This is a wonderful B&B.... in a historical house on the Appalachian trail.... Rachel was an amazing host and greeted us with open arms ... they place a lot of attention to detail in this charming establishment...cut flowers, tea, and even an extra heater in the bathroom on a cold raining morning .... just to name a few .... I highly recommend these accommodations if you are in the area ... you will not be disappointed !!! We will be back !!!!
