After booking a 2 night stay I became leery and canceled on the very next day. The charge was already pending on my credit card. I called and talked to "Gina" and she assured me it would be take care of (refunded). After several phone calls, several run around answers, I have still not gotten the refund. This was charged on 6/22/21 and it is now 8/26/21. I have never in all my hotel bookings over the years, experienced such ineptitude by a proprietor. I do not recommend this business. A couple of weeks ago, I stayed at the Alpine Court Motel with a friend of mine. We were excited as this motel allowed pets and we took our dogs with us. We were shocked to see LOTS of small worms all over the place. We were afraid to put anything on the floor, especially our dogs! We contacted the leasing agent who was uncaring and told us that she didn't own the place.

We rented 2 rooms. Neither room was “newly remodeled” as the website says! There was no phone, no microwave, no WiFi, no ice...no coffee maker!!! It was a huge disappointment! Yes, the location was extremely convenient but that’s the only positive thing. We stayed 2 nights because we paid for 2 nights. However 4 days after our departure we were called and informed that we were charged an additional $75 dollars because a sheet had some dirt on it and a rag was stained?!! We accepted that a rag could have become stained, and a sheet could have had dirt on it, go figure!! The motel is so run down and I’m sure the sheets and rags weren’t purchased at any High end store, most likely the sheet was no more than $5 at dollar general and the rag at most $1. The Audacity of some desperate people. Beware of this scammer!

We stayed here while passing thru and a short revisit to the Appalachian trail. We got in around 7:00 pm after driving all day. The sign said “Vacancy” so we stopped in. There was no clerk and a sign directs you to call a number to get a room. We did and got the code to unlock a key box to get the key to the room. We never saw a person, but because we were tired we decided to stay. The room was semi clean but the only heat was a small space heater that was completely inadequate. We had our dog so we paid a ridiculous $25 extra so she could stay but there was nothing else open so we took it. After staying and leaving the next morning we had no receipt. My fault for not following up on that. I was charged for the room at the agreed price which was high for the accommodations and no amenities. 3 days later we were billed another $55. We called to find out why? The owner was the person who answered and she said our dog had scratched a table? This table was scratched when we came into the room and our dog absolutely did not cause the scratches. My fault again for not taking photos of the damage. When we told the owner that the scratches were already there, she hung up on us? If anyone has stayed here and has been charged these additional fees then please respond. It may be possible this place is charging everyone for this same fee and claiming new damage. I would like to see if anyone else has been charged so I can file fraud charges.

I have extensive reviews on Yelp! but on want to get this out, feel free to check it out to show I'm not just a bad egg. Stayed here for a night after hiking from I-40 up to Hot Springs. My buddies and I got 2 rooms. This place is located right in the center of town and has a nicely maintained outside. After going to the office, we saw a sign that said we had to walk next door for service, so we did what we had to do. We walked in and the lady at the register almost acted like she didn't know what we were talking about and grabbed a big guy from the back. He came out gave me a price of 80 bucks and my buddy a price of 65, cash only. We luckily had just enough and got our keys. The rooms were REALLY BAD. This is what we dealt with in both rooms... not secure doors, windows that couldn't close (rooms & bathrooms), window AC units installed in the walls that were leaking on the shag carpet and plugged into extension cords that were tucked under the carpet coming from another room, showers we're hot but moldy, rooms smelled musty and moldy, no phone/ clock/ wifi, and only 1 power outlet. My phone was dead and I was so tired and stinky I didn't care to make a fuss at the time and couldn't take pictures. The 1 star is for the location, outside maintenance, and the friendliness of the big guy at the counter. If you look at my review history you'll see I don't write bad reviews often, but my friends and I were disappointed. I loved the tavern down the road and rest of the town but wish we could have lived it up just a LITTLE better after our hike.
