Kana’ti Lodge is a hidden gem and an ideal retreat for anyone who wants to get away temporarily from a hustle-bustle lifestyle. This is a small two guest room lodge run by a most welcoming couple, David and Jeannette. The lodge itself is constructed on local wood and recycled parts from old barns and other structures. The family had my whole hiking team stay with them and I have never felt more love and had such a peaceful time. From homemade hummus to local ice creams from Hot Springs....the food was amazing and the views took our breath away. I had to force myself to leave and continue hiking on the Appalachian Trail. If you want quiet and peaceful,this is your place. I can't remember better hosts or a better learning experience than what David and Janette gave us. Rooms are quiet and spacious and breakfast was awesome.and I still want the muffin recipe. One of the best places we're ever stayed
