My fiancee and I were looking for a small venue with mountain views in western North Carolina to have a small, private wedding. What we found in RiverDance was a exquisite venue with breathtaking views! The wedding was small--just the two of us plus our officiant, a photographer and the property manager filling in for Callie while she was away--but we rented both River Rocks and Tree Top suites so there was plenty of room to spread out. The River Rocks suit on the ground floor has a fabulous deck where we spent most of our time. The Tree Tops suite doesn't have a deck but has larger bedrooms and plenty of space. Both suites were impeccably clean. The wedding itself was held on Callie's own deck--she was very kind to offer it to us--which is connected to her great room and affords spectacular views of the valley below. The hosts were gracious, the facilities were top notch, the space was immaculate; all-in-all we could not have asked for a more perfect spot to hold our wedding. We created lifelong memories here and will be back to celebrate them in the future! AVL is an easy 45-minute drive away (wedding dinner was at the Red Stag Inn), there is an Ingles grocery store 20 minutes from RiverDance in Marshall and Hot Springs is about 13 minutes away and has at least one fun lunch spot. Thank you, Callie, for a great venue and thank you Joy and Jay for supporting us during the event!

What a lovely place on a peaceful mountaintop. We wish we had stayed longer for the view and great location to dozens of great hikes. Callie was phenomenal in keeping in touch with us to ensure our stay was ideal. With the current pandemic protocols, we didn't initially understand that we wouldn't have access to the giant porch on the website from our Treetops selection on the top floor of the house. Callie was kind enough to give us a 10% discount and updated the website to make this more clear for others who plan to stay in the future. The place was very clean and the innkeeper was very welcoming. We felt safe, relaxed, and comfortable in this lovely home. I definitely recommend staying here for at least 2 nights and ideally longer to take advantage of all of the amazing hikes and scenic views in the area.

We spend two nights at River Dance. The apartment was delighful, clean, well stocked and comfortable. It is just as the pictures show it to be. The view from the HUGE deck overlooking the river about 200 feet below was only out done by the breathtaking long range view across the mountains. The drive was easy, paved roads except for a few hundred feet. Don't miss this one!

This is the third time my wife and I have visited this property and we are never disappointed. We both agree that of all the travel locations we have visited this is by far the most relaxing. There are plenty of amazing outdoor activities to take advantage of in the area, but you can easily spend hours on the deck listening to the river below and watching the mist float by the mountains. On this visit we went to the arboretum in Asheville and hiked some local trails. I was able to fish for trout every day on the private section of the laurel river on the property. The owners Callie and Dave are amazing and have made exceptional modifications to their service to mitigate covid-19 concerns. We can not recommend this property highly enough and we will be back in the not too distant future. Jason and Julie.

My husband surprised me with a weekend retreat to this spectacular B & B tuck away up in the mountains for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Callie and her family could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. My husband has some handicaps and they were able to accommodate every need he had with no questions or problems. The breakfast each morning was absolutely wonderful. Even though the weather wasn't ideal, the room was more than ideal. We could see fantastic views for miles and miles from the deck. We truly felt we were treated like family. I completely see why they have been featured on Wheel of Fortune and have such a high rating. Highly recommend RiverDance to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway.
