We stayed here for a friends wedding and had a great experience. We were booked in the guest house and after reading reviews here I was nervous about it. However, it was a wonderful room! Yes it's not in the main house but the rooms were actually bigger and we had a huge balcony which was wonderful. The lighting in...

Our stay at the inn was our first. My husband and I were on a get-away with some friends who had been there before, and their reports from prior visits were extremely positive. We now agree with them. Our accommodations were very nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. The inn is well kept and clean. Our group ranged...

We were in town for a dear friend's wedding. This inn was one of a few suggested by the bride & groom. The location was perfect, right in the midst of the downtown area ... walking distance to all the shops, bars and restaurants. The room was simple, but had everything we needed as we weren't going to spend much...

My wife and I decided to go to Highlands after our daughter visited this past summer. We tried to stay at the same location where she stayed but it was booked. The Main Street Inn was recommended by a friend so we "took a chance". We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. You can never be sure if the pictures on the...

Location is ideal. Close to everything you need, but private enough to feel at ease. Southern hospitality. Breakfast is five stars. Excellent coffee. Manager and staff very kind. This is the real Highlands experience. Five stars.

This was our first visit to Highlands and we were very fortunate to stay at the Main Street Inn. This is a very charming house with tons of character. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were very clean. We will definitely be back to stay at the Main Street Inn.

My husband and I chose to stay at the Main Street Inn on a whim. We were coming in town for a wedding and figured location was the key as we probably wouldn't be in our room much! We made the perfect decision and will continue to stay there for future visits (especially if we bring the kids in the...

My Wife and I have stayed at the Main Street Inn many times over the last five years. For the money, there is no better value in Highlands! The rooms are comfortable and clean, the food is excellent and the service is wonderful.

First i will say that I made a last minute reservation so I got what was left. The pictures on their site of the Guest house make it look like it has some trees around it so you might think it is secluded. Well it is actually in the parking lot. a parking lot that is extremely well lit through...
