We stayed at The Chandler Inn while we were in Highlands on a Saturday and just decided to spend the night. We stayed in the large room on the front, facing the road. We had our dogs with us and they were just fine there. Surprisingly we barely heard any traffic. It wasn't the Hilton, but the bed and bath... More

The room was very clean. The people who work there are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Had great tips on all the waterfalls and hiking trails not to be missed. The breakfast was an added delicious bonus.

The category "bed and breakfast" conjures certain expectations and a certain level of accommodations that I'm afraid this inn does not live up to. It would more properly be called a motel, to be honest. I tried two different rooms and found that I could have booked nicer, better maintained accommodations elsewhere in Highlands for less money. The first room... More

We had stayed at the Chandler Inn years ago, and found it just as welcoming as in the past! Wonderful host and hostess, comfortable beds, lovely swings, within a short walk to downtown Highlands area. Fireplaces in the rooms add warmth on cool evenings. The breakfast was delicious, and our room had a nice kitchen area as well. We fell... More

My wife and I needed a long overdue break from some hectic times. I came across the Chandler Inn through Groupon. Prior to booking I spoke to the Innkeeper Randy and he was uber friendly, which further enforced the decision to stay here. My wife has never stayed at a B&B so she called Randy and asked a gazillion questions,... More

My husband and I stayed at the Chandler Inn for a quick anniversary overnight in the Highlands area. We were greeted outside at the car and shown to our room. We had a private suite above the office with a gas fireplace and king size bed. Our room was very cozy and nicely decorated with clean white bed linens. We had... More

I cannot say enough good things about The Chandler Inn. It is CLEAN, the rooms are cozy , although there was some chilly air coming in around the door to our room (103) the fireplace and warm heat more than made up for it. The bed was very comfortable and beautiful. They do not skimp on linens. The towels were... More

The owner remembers his clients and could not be more friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious, the rooms are clean with fireplaces and very comfortable beds. I have stayed in lots of hotels and homes in Highlands and this is at the top of my list. I will be back.

We stayed one night and our overall thoughts were that we'd definitely stay again. It's cozy, quaint, charming and clean. The owners are very friendly and know the area really well. What you'd expect to stay here is a simple, no frills, relaxing place to escape to for whatever reason your visit and an easy 0.5 mile walk to downtown.
