Echo Mountain Inn is a charming country inn located about 3 miles from historic Hendersonville, North Carolina and about 25 miles south of Asheville, NC. The Inn is nestled away on a mountain in Laurel Park, with over 25 individually decorated rooms and a great variety of beds, arrangements, and charm. All our rooms have TV, individual heat/air, private baths and wireless internet. Rooms in our 1930's wing even have a real wood burning fireplace. We enjoy serving a hearty and healthy breakfast each morning that caters to most dietary needs. In warm weather, you can enjoy our outdoor pool, shuffleboard court, and gardens. Fall brings spectacular NC foliage and in winter we have cozy fires and comfy places to read a book, play games or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Let Echo Mountain Inn serve as your launching base for local shopping, as well as outdoor activities like hiking, biking, rafting and golf or enjoying the waterfalls close by in beautiful western North Carolina.

We needed a quick getaway for our family at the start of the school year and found Echo Mountain Inn. Having stayed at a few different B&B's as a couple we were excited but a bit leery of trying that with our 3 kids (13, 11, and 9). Well, we have become fans of Echo Mountain Inn. Relax time: The kids jumped in the pool which was clean, big enough, with lots of toys to play with. Plenty of reading spaces with great views afforded downtime for each one of us. Location: Apple picking before we checked in on Saturday, a hole in the wall (read as fun and cool) hot dog place, great BBQ, jumping off rock, and beautiful views make this just an incredible spot. Hosts: New owners were so attentive and gracious and sought to meet our needs at every turn. This quaint and charming inn is just the right spot for some downtime and fun. Clean, updating, great hosts, and a good breakfast.

Steve, I'm so glad you found us and tried us with your family. It's great you made it to Hot Dog World also, a surprisingly popular place. You came at a great time of year for apple picking also. Enjoy your many travels. Travis.

We wanted to check out a couple local farms near Hendersonville and bumped into the Inn. The owners and staff are great people and made us feel right at home to a very welcoming environment. If you're looking to stay at a B+B with charm and character (along with friendly staff). The breakfast is actually made vs pulled out of plastic wrappers and nuked. Some might say the hotel needs a few updates but nothing that I really need. We just needed to sit on the porch in some rocking chairs and enjoy the view.

We stayed here for one night in Royal room with beautiful view. Room was nice clean with jaccuzzi. Next morning we get nice breakfast. Hot coffee, scrambled eggs and pastries. Nice and fresh. Staff was very friendly. Good place to stop and stay. If we going back to North Carolina we will stop there again.

Very pleased with our overnight stay and breakfast. The long, twisting Laurel Park Highway is itself accomplishment, supposedly the first fully light ed concrete road when it was built from the popular casino/resort town of Laurel Park up to the 13-story skyscraper Fleetwood Hotel a few miles beyond the Echo Mountain Inn. Unfortunately, the Fleetwood was never completed and by 1939 was torn down for salvage. The Echo Mountain Inn grounds are pretty and include a pool, gardens, fountain, and shuffleboard courts. The main house has rooms in it and in its wings (such as where we stayed), and then there are separate detached buildings, too. The first floor of the main house has two genteel reading lounges, plus the serving and dining areas for the buffet breakfast (a good one!). Our room was clean and comfortable, although the bedding was a little soft for me. The wireless Internet was adequate to take care of essentials. At first a family next door seemed like they would be noisy, but then the children settled down.

Stayed for a quick weekend getaway and loved this place! It is at the end of a very winding, uphill climb that I would not attempt in icy weather. A lot of great things to do nearby. Such attention to detail of this historic inn. Breakfast was incredible, and not at all your average "complimentary breakfast." We will definitely be coming back!
