My husband and I just visited our first B&B, and we are so happy with our decision to stay in Hendersonville, NC at the Elizabeth Leigh Inn. The home was absolutely beautiful, very clean, and we felt welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. I must say that I am quite the homebody, and I have always preferred... More

I stayed in the Elizabeth Leigh Inn for one night in November 2016. I have never stayed in such a delightfully furnished B and B. Each room was utterly tasteful and exquisitely furnished with the most minute attention to detail. Our host Michael was charming and attentive and I hope I will be able to return one day to this... Our 14th "girls week-end" at the Elizabeth Leigh was as incredible as always. The four of us always stay in the Rose Room and the Lavender Room, our favorites-- and the luxury is indescribable. We especially love the big wrap-around porch, the delicious breakfasts Cindy makes, and the high king size beds in every room. Can't imagine a better home... More

We've been staying at the Elizabeth Leigh Inn for many years, probably the last 13 or 14 by now. Our trip is the same weekend every year and we look forward to it all year. Cindy is the perfect hostess and makes everyone so comfortable and welcome. We look forward to her wonderful breakfasts the two mornings we are there... More

The Elizabeth Leigh Inn was one of the prettiest bed and breakfasts I've stayed in. It was absolutely lovely--excellent decor, wonderful hostess, very nice wrap around porch to sit on with gorgeous ferns and plants. It was easy to find, quiet, and easy parking in the small lot behind it. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I spent three lovely nights here over Labor Day weekend. The Apple Festival was also going on during our stay. The Inn is within walking distance so enjoying the festival early or late to avoid the crowds was easy! The Inn itself was so welcoming and comfortable. Jon and I lounged on the huge front porch, enjoyed... More

We stayed in the Red Room which was a good size with a very comfortable bed. The room, as well as the entire property, was richly decorated and filled with flowers, knick-knacks and huge hydrangeas. Cindy was so nice and accommodating and made us feel like we were home. We would walk into the kitchen any time as we felt... More

Usually, staying in a bed & breakfast involves some compromise of comfort or convenience. The room might be oddly configured or the bathroom shoe-horned into what was intended as a closet, or else down the hall. The rooms at Elizabeth Leigh are large, comfortable and elegant. They must have reconfigured the floors when they renovated. The infrastructure is modern and... More

Beautiful Property...perhaps one of the most detailed and thoroughly decorated period B&B's we have yet to see. The price was somewhat high but all of expectations were met and more. The room (the Lavender Room) was large and beautifully appointed with original antiques and paintings. The bathroom was large and modern. Breakfast on both days of our stay by Cindy... More

We have been traveling non stop for the past 2 weeks. We spent our day at the fabulous park a couple of miles away. We were hiking, seeing waterfalls, and doing sliding rock all day! It was nice to come back to a place where you can sit on the porch and listen to the fountains and small waterfall, or... More
