We have stayed at The Henderson before and continue to love it. It’s quaint, SUPER CLEAN, friendly. Perfectly located to walk to the Main Street for shopping, dining and special events. The Inn keepers are very kind. We enjoyed complimentary breakfast which was delicious: Todays choice was spinach omelet, fresh fruit and cinnamon roll or you could have waffles with fresh fruit.
As always this place exceeds our expectations. Great room, great hosts, great food and only steps from Downtown Hendersonville. Can’t wait to get back for another weekend. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hendersonville.
We stayed at the Henderson on a road trip on 7/7 for 2 nights. It is a fantastic place to stay. The place is very quaint and charming. From the time we checked in with Jeanne to checkout 2 days later, we were treated like part of the Inn family. We traveled with 2 small dogs, and they were so welcomed. The location is perfect. You walk out to downtown Hendersonville. You won't find a better location in Hendersonville. The breakfast was great and very creative. Michael, who is an accomplished chef, was fantastic. Michael and Jeanne are the owners and so hands on. They welcome you and are just so friendly and accommodating. It is a very laid-back approach. I would highly recommend this place to stay when in the Hendersonville area. Thanks Mike and Carrie Clancy and Homie and Buddy…
Jeanne and Michael are extremely great host and make you fell welcomed the moment you step in the door. Walk in as a guest and leave feeling like family. The Henderson is a little gem B&B and our go to when visiting Hendersonville and surrounding areas. Hendersonville is a very nice downtown with shops, locally owned restaurants, wine shop and craft breweries. If heading to the NC mountains near Hendersonville, book a stay at the Henderson, you’ll be glad you did.
The Henderson is a great stay in Hendersonville! I have stayed 4 times now over the years, this time with my husband and it is a true delight. Every time, we are welcomed by Jeanne and Michael and feel like we have come home. Everything about it is special, the building, the rooms, the decor and theme and the food is fabulous! It is just a block walk from the cute downtown. We can’t wait to return again and again!
Had a welcoming experience at The Henderson. We have stayed many times over the years, and Jeannine and Michael were very hospitable. We ate at Harvey’s on Friday night and our dinner was amazing. We had breakfast on the front porch as the weather was just perfect. The Henderson is perfect walking distance to downtown and easy travel to visiting Hendersonville wineries. Don’t forget before you leave to purchase The Henderson Honey! Yummy
First, this Bed & Breakfast property is located so that you can easily walk to all shops and restaurants on Main Street. Their restaurant located within this property is just wonderful and the outside seating on the wrap around porch is great, even in cold weather (they have propane heaters everywhere. The breakfast they serve is also awesome. Our room was on the 1st floor and it was everything we needed. The owners were very, very nice and accommodating. We will be back to stay here if we get back to Hendersonville. This 100 year old home/hotel was just wonderful.
For personal and professional reasons, I've traveled far and wide, high and low--from Marrakesh, Morocco's fabled Mamounia to Bozeman, Montana's fly-fishermen's weigh-station "The C'mon Inn" motel, & can easily say The Henderson's owner/hosts, Mike and Jeannine, succeed in their every conceivable effort to be welcoming, utterly proficient, with award-worthy, inimitable personal attention ( food: divine!) and care of service, including a pet-friendly policy. The Henderson's wonderfully idiosyncratic and charming without being "eccentric." Cozy, festive, absolutely lovely. We will return soon, again! Unfortunately, yesterday, two seemingly quite entitled guests left their dogs alone in their room, barking (despite the fact they were, they noted, at a pet-friendly event elsewhere!) so that it disturbed many other customers until the dog-owners were politely asked to leave, after all other reasonable efforts on the owners' parts seemed to be exhausted. The owners and staff handled the situation calmly and hospitably: real pros. Hope those particular dog-owners find a pet-friendly Motel Six, or better yet, take their pets to a kennel or leave them with wit pet-friendly relatives or friends next time they decide to travel! Absolutely inconsiderate of the property, its policies, and its other guests.…
We’re very excited for a weekend with our furry friends. We left them in the room to visit a local winery. We specifically mentioned for the owners wife to CALL US if there were any issues with our dogs barking. No call for an hour and a half—to let us know we needed to get our dogs and leave. No heads up there were any issues at all until a notice to check out. When we walk in, owners wife won’t make eye contact with her head down. Would NOT recommend. Terrible customer service, and not great amenities/lighting to begin with.
What a great place and great owners. Not only were they great hosts but C19 compliant and very pet friendly. The pet friendly room was comfortable and convienent. Free parking. Great food. Free dog treats too.
