Too bad one can not give this negative stars. I think if this hotel allowed pet dogs, it might smell better. The room smelled terrible (unless you enjoy the smell of ashtrays). The bathroom floor was sticky, We slept in long pants and long sleeve shirts because we unsure if the sheets were clean. The staff could use some training in being courteous to their guests.

1. No. Sketchy neighborhood – one neighboring property was chain linked, one neighboring property is a closed motel. 2. No. Basic hotel room with nothing extra – including no hair dryer. 3. No. Needs a really deep cleaning – dirty bathroom, dirty carpet, I THINK we had clean sheets…. 4. Won’t be back….. Not interested in the brand name either!

It's not the place for a family vacation, but as a single guy I had no issues here. Some of the other clientele were off putting, but that's hardly the hotels fault. The staff is great, but the rooms still needs a little more TLC.

I booked this hotel accidentally via Priceline. I’d been falling asleep (literally... my 9 year old had to wake me) while I was driving and I said “no more.” Got the Priceline express deal rate of $40. Pulled in. Entered... or tried to. I was abruptly cut off by the woman who’d been outside smoking with her boyfriend. “That window,” she said, pointing to some bullet proof glass. Okay. Checked in. She was friendly enough but would rather have been somewhere else. Got upstairs to my room. We watched television for a bit, then I took a couple hours nap. Woke up, told the boys we’d better run to the grocery for supper before I passed out for good. Long story short, I napped so I didn’t get to actually sleep until around 4 am. I woke up at 10 COVERED in bites. Covered. The same girl checked me out, which I thought was odd. Maybe she likes working long shifts or maybe she’s just overworked. Or maybe she’s still waiting fir the exterminator to show. Anyway, y’all, skip this. Stay across the street. It’s a military town and there are plenty of options. Go to Kinston or Wilson. Just not here.

Let me say that even though I did not enjoy my stay. The staff is great! This is not a place for a single female or a family with kids. The police was there at least 3 times. The parking in the back is not good. 5e room was big, but no outlet in bathroom so you had to put on your makeup in one room, but blow dry & straighten your hair in a different room. The microwave & frig are a great touch. There was also no outlet near the bed so you could not have your phone or computer charging.
