We have been guests at Blaine House before, and always look forward to returning. Location is perfect for us. Our room was clean and comfortable, the house is, as always, well appointed Victorian style, which we enjoy very much. Karin is an amazing cook (!) and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts!! Karin went above and beyond to provide local information as well as assistance when we decided to attend an open - air concert - which was the only one so far this season that was rained out :-] Karin and Suze are quite companionable and we had some really enjoyable visits!! They, and their dog, Cooper, as well as their new family of felines, have become our friends. We were treated like family. We loved our visit and look forward to the next one!

What can I say. The burgers are great. The Rubin's are wonderful. The Liver and Onions just like Mom made. They have a Bloody Mary Bar. You could make a meal out of all the add on's they offer. They had a fire a few years ago but the food is better.

Karin is very warm and personable and made sure we had everything we needed. She supplied us with a little wagon, enabling us to transport our luggage from the parking lot to the front door and right on up to our room. Also, she was extremely helpful in answering our questions about the area and offering suggestions on places to go for entertainment and dining. We extremely enjoyed our morning chats with Karin over breakfast (along with enjoying some of the best sausage biscuits that Paul remarked he had ever tasted). We left having made a new friend and with a desire to return this fall. The Blaine House is warm and cozy and Karin's warmth and hospitality made us feel as though we were visiting a favorite cousin or aunt.

The Blaine House was the perfect place to relax after our hike. Karin was so welcoming and accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed. She had coffee and breakfast ready when we needed it, and even made me a cup of afternoon coffee when I requested it! The Mildred King Suite was wonderful! The room was clean, cozy, and the perfect space to relax with the additional sitting areas. Thank you Karin for a perfect stay at the Blaine House, and for dropping us off at dinner when the taxi service wasn't available! Karin is such a gem! We highly recommended the Blaine House and hope to be back in the fall.

I love staying at B&Bs. I highly recommend The Blaine House. Clean and classic with a hostess who understands that people who are traveling want a little feel of staying with friends. I stayed in The Mildred Room on the first floor. It a mini suite. King bed.! There is a small breakfast of homemade muffins, bread, and fruit. She will have coffee or tea ready for whenever you want to get up. The house is beautifully furnished with antiques. The house not far from downtown. There is an electronic keyless entry and you get a regular key to your room so you are free to come and go. Stay are The Blaine House. I will again.
