We canceled our room 4 months before the reservation date. This is 3 months later and we still have not received a refund for the deposit. Still cannot get a response to the multiple emails we have sent them. Still cannot get a return phone call to the voicemails we have left them. Fontana is one of those low rent companies that lay people off and ignore their customer base. Save wages, keep other people's money. The sort of company that makes me want to take a shower after I deal with them.

We went for fire school and stayed in a three bedroom cabin. It had everything we needed and had enough privacy. The cabin was clean and an easy walk to the lobby. Can't wait to go back. I am sure we will use this location for a weekend getaway.

This resort is defiantly dated but we found it to be cozy and relaxing. Our unit, 510 did have a flat screen TV in the living room but no TV in the bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed and the lobby provided us with wood, matched and a fire starter for the wood stove. Our unit had a Whirlpool in the bedroom. It was rather large which was nice but we had to fill it half way, wait for the hot water tank to fill and then fill the rest. It was an inconvenient but it wasn't that hard to work around. We went to the Mountain View Bistro for all you can eat crab legs on Thursday night. We found the soup underwhelming but the crab legs we amazing and so was the service. You cant beat AYCE for $35. We went during the winter months and still found lot of things to get into. I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to people who like the outdoors.

Stayed here for a week in a two bed two bath cabin. The cabin was nicely furnished with comfortable sofas and a fairly comfortable bed. The cabin was definitely well worn and was in desperate need of a spring clean. I cleaned very thick webs and dust off the bedside lamps as well as other furniture in the cabin. The kitchen had the basic plates, cutlery etc. The breakfast table was so wobbly we didn’t use it. Someone had put lots of cardboard under one or two legs to try to stabilize it but it really didn’t work. The lobby in the lodge is very comfortable and one of the only places in the complex to get WiFi so we spent a couple of hours every day there. The restaurant in the lodge had good food and good service. We stayed here in January, so pool was closed and a secondary restaurant was closed. Great place if you want peace and quiet. It’s very remote!

The unit was well stocked with everything we needed. We went during off season and a lot of the restaurants and other places were closed for business. If we went back, we would visit during the summer.
