Lovely clean and friendly small hotel. Very close to campus. The manager is adorable and works very hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Sunny and open sitting area to read, work or catch up with friends. Walking distance to restaurants and campus

My daughter and I stayed at The Acorn Inn on a visit to Elon. It was a pretty little boutique hotel with clean, spacious rooms. The location was perfect! We walked to dinner, ice cream, the bookstore and all over campus. The sunroom in the front of the hotel is so pretty, though our weather was chilly. I could picture how much it is probably used on warmer days.

We have stayed here two times now. Each time was during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The hotel and staff have done a commendable job in dealing with the daily frustrations and altered lifestyle as a result of the pandemic. A lot of students from Elon work at the hotel. The Hotel is basically on the Elon campus. The campus at Elon is simply beautiful with the classic Georgian Architecture. While a lot of the campus has been built in the last 20 years, the structures on campus look like they have been there forever. This inn is no exception. It fits in perfectly with the surrounding campus and looks like it has been there for decades. In fact, it was recently built and opened. It has all of the modern amenities and a spacious beautiful property. Just because it is on Elon’s campus, does not mean it is a casual “collegiate” place. This hotel is part of the Charlestowne Hotel Group. This is an upscale Hotel. The rooms are spacious with all modern amenities. The rooms a spacious and nicely appointed. The bathroom was roomy and great. The first time we stayed, we had a balcony. The second time we did not have a balcony. I wish they would have had balconies for most of the rooms, but that is being picky. The grounds are beautiful. For dinner one night we picked up food from a nearby restaurant and ate outside spaced from others. This is the best hotel in the area. The rate at times may reflect that, so if you find a good rate, take it.

I always enjoy staying at the Acorn Inn. The rooms are clean, spacious, and beautiful. Location is perfect. And the staff is very helpful and friendly. The booking service automatically changed my preferred date to the next available. Even though I arrived on the wrong day, the staff quickly found a room for me and could not have been nicer. This kind of personal attention is hard to find these days, but it has always been the case at the Acorn Inn in Elon.

After a long day of travel and back to school shopping my son and I returned to the Acorn Inn. Feather mattress bed, soft sheets, and a bottle of wine from the local winery wee much needed. And, it’s across the street from the Elon campus! It’s the best place to stay in Elon area.

I participated in a training program in the Elon/Burlington NC area. The Acorn Inn was included for one night's stay, but I chose to arrive one night early and stay over an additional night. It was a delightful play to enjoy 3 great nights of sleep (the mattresses are heavenly!). Having the separate sitting room and tv area provided a lot of elbow room. The bath and sink vanity was perfect. There was plenty of luggage spread-out area in the king bedroom. Would I stay there again. Oh, yes! Would I recommend it to others. Oh, yes! In a heartbeat!

Lovely, quaint and welcoming. Beyond clean. Beautiful modern suites. Wonderful patio. Everything was wonderful. They took extra precautions because of the Covid-19 concerns. Friendly staff. Walking distance to Elon University and many restaurants.

Pleasant surprise with tasteful plates, crab cakes were excellent and service was good. Room is small which is surprising. Early yet as this place just opened but if the food quality continues this will be an excellent hidden gem in a beautiful campus setting

Just got back from another stay at The Acorn Inn and I can't recommend it enough. Every time we stay we feel right at home. The rooms are great but it's the folks who make up the Acorn family who make the difference. In an area filled with blah chain hotels, the Acorn is the far superior choice.

I was in town to see the university with my son. We only stayed one night in the 2 bedroom suite. We were greeted as soon as we came in the door. Check in was super fast. They were setting up for wine and sweets at 6. We had some cheese and crackers and snack mix. Looked like a few different wines to choose from. Our room was upstairs. I did not see an elevator, but the gentleman that greeted us offered to carry our bag up. Our suite was very large. Both bedrooms had king sized beds. The master had a large sitting area. There was Plenty of closet space and space to put your luggage. Lots of plugs to charge your items. The bathroom was large with lots of towels and face cloths. Plenty of soap and hand lotion. I prefer separate shampoo and conditioner. Our suite had a shower and the toilet was in a separate closet. I would have liked a little more cleanliness. Our suite had a little refrigerator with items for purchase, but plenty of room if you needed to store drinks of your own. The hallway up stairs had a coffee and tea machine and an ice maker with ice buckets. Breakfast was fine for us. My son had a fresh made waffle and we both had sausage and fruit. There were hardboiled eggs and some pastry and bagels as well. Juices were available as well. Check out was very fast and they called us quickly to let us know we had left a phone charger behind since they knew we were still in town taking a tour of the school. Very much appreciated. We would stay here again.
